Anybody know if and/or when these are coming to the US? Good place on-line to order? Thanks! My thoughts exactly..... If anyone in NZ or Australia has located the Rocket Helo, please let us know. If you would be willing to grab a couple and send them over, I would gladly make it worth your troubles...

Agreed, you can't go wrong with the Tamiya masking tape. It is a bit pricey, but worth every red cent saved in aggravation.

No, everyone is kicked back with a bucket of popcorn (or a bag of Doritos!) waiting for the next development.

Kinda like "wait and see" mode.

Hopefully no news is good news.

I'll second that.... I love my 150.

Good pointers above Folkwulfe, flyboy should be well on his way to nice custom finishes.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Tamiya turn out to be the one producing the 1/18 F-14. Their 1/32 scale 'Cat model carried the exact markings and is the same model (F-14A) as the photos of the alleged 1/18 bird. It would be easy enough for them to scale up the molds and start popping these things out...

So aferg, are you going to hold out for the mystery F-14, or are you going to spring for the X-flight foamy when it is released? I have been watching your updates on the X-flight Cat with great interest, but I know as soon as it comes out and I purchase one, the mystery F-14 will appear.

A few years ago, when the Tiger tanks first came out (I believe I may have been the first here to locate them!), my wife called and said there was a tank at WM she hadn't seen before. I asked her what it was and she replied,"A German Tiger I Tank?" I asked how much they were, so she scanned one. $10...

I'm going to stay optimistic on this one, I mean, what have I got to loose. At the very least I know I wont be wasting time and money running from one Walmart to another trying to find the darned thing. I think I will sit back, grab a bag of Doritos (Fiery Habanero of course), and see what materiali...

I actually have good feeling about this one. We are long overdue for something to come along, and I would wager that bbi would be the only company of the three 1/18 players with enough weight to produce something like this, especially considering the condition of the world economy. I think the silen...

Normally toys are not subject to any Customs charges but ask them to low ball the value on the Customs form.....they may not want to but it doesn't hurt to ask. ......I don't think that would fly too well as they have already stated on their website that all overseas packages will be declared at fu...

I just tried to pre-order the Tomcat, but got a "Busy server error, please try back later." prompt. However, the manufacturers website does in fact say that this plane is 1/18 scale once you get to the point of placing your order. It also gives three shipping options, one of which being FedEx. The F...

With all of my surplus XD funds from the past six months burnin' a hole in my rear, I wouldn't care if this thing was pushing 500 bones. If this F-14 does actually see the light of day, I will have (at...

Woops.....I just realized that you are asking how to separate the tail section from main fuselage. The best I can tell you is to pull them apart while working the parts side to side. Its tuff but they too will come apart!

Sorry about the confusion.

Yep..... find all of the little 1/4" circles, which are all located on the starboard side of the tail section, and drill or pry them out. Under them you will find small phillips head screws which need to be removed. After that, carefully pry apart the two halves. Take your time...... they are glued ...

It doesn't. However, I don't think it was ever intended to be a totally accurate scale representation the Littlebird. It is a bit more on the toy side, built a little beefier to handle the abuse dished out by the up and coming collectors.

Yeah man, looks great! Glad to see things are back on track.

BTW, what are you you using to scribe the plastic? I have a Squadron scribing tool but the lines it cuts seem a bit undersized for 1/18 scale. I think its geared more towards smaller scales.
