Yeah, all of this aforementioned stuff would've been nice to have. But what I was really waiting for was some Soviet tanks, at the low WM price so I could build a tank corps of truly Soviet proportions :D Hard to recreate Prokhorvka at $60 for a FOV KV-1. Agreed colonel. The KV or even the IS serie...

No, but I expect when people are buying this beauty they're going to have dogfight sessions with their 21C A6M2 Zero.

I'd have to jump on the "love BBI" bandwagon too fella's. The people there really know their s@#$. I own the F-4J and the 1/18th Donald Duck P-51, and the weathering and detail inside and out on both is simply outstanding. As for the obligatory wishing, I could go for a La-7 in Ivan Kozhedub's marki...

Haven't decided yet. If I do get either one, I'm going to be relegating some of my birds to storage (My P-40, 262, one of my 109's, and my Dora are being considered).

Re: P-39 figure

I just got an FOV P-39 Airacobra, and I really like the model. The standing figure that came with the plane has a rather strange hat on. The hat looks nice, but the top of it is painted orange. I know that is not right. Can anyone tell me how this hat should be painted? My guess would be Olive drab...

I was out all day picking up supplies for my brother's birthday party, so I stopped at a TRU in St. Catharines, Ontario to see what was in stock. After a few minutes drooling over the new Star Wars Millennium Falcon, I checked out the aisles containing the FOV stuff. Saw the new 1/72 scale Mustang a...

Zellers and TRU mostly. Sometimes the Wal-Marts here will carry a few items from time to time.

EDIT: Sears too.

The Hartmann Bf-109 looks rather nice. I like the color of the P-39. But don't you think both are somewhat expensive? I think the rivets add authenticity :P . Don't get me wrong, I'm all for rivets on my planes, just not the kind seen on FOV's aircraft. There is a good side to this though; If you b...

Re: FOV 32nd scale P-39 "Devastating Devil"

I see that Bad Cat has the latest repaint of the FOV P-39 called "Devistating Devil" I like the paint scheme, and the black prop and spinner. I think I will order one today. I saw that one (Rather nice) and the FOV 109G-6 painted as one of Hartmann's birds. I'm sad to see that Unimax hasn't r...
