Went across the border again today. Stopped at a Wal Mart, Target, and a TRU. Here's what I found: Wal Mart: One Yellow 11 190 and some carded DAK troops. Target: Three 1/72nd figure sets (Two WWII and one modern), some Zeroes and Sea Hurricanes, some figure/vehicle sets, and a Bravo Force Sherman. ...

I see some of these at my local Wally World too. I've seen flatbeds, tankers, standard cargo carriers, NASCAR transports, and even a few auto carriers (Able to carry four 1/32nd scale cars).

Re: 21st P-40 Flying Tiger "RT Smith, 47" question

I have a question about thev 21st Century 1/32 P-40 "Flying Tiger" flown by RT Smith with #47 on the fuselage---Does this P-40 come with bombs, drop tanks, etc.? Not that I know of. The only extras I think it comes with are some stickers to correct the "neutered" Chinese nationalist markings on the...

Saw it in the 5$ walmart DVD bin today..didn't buy as I had never heard of it, although it might be worth it for the At-6/Zero vs F-14 stuff alone. That's one of the best scenes in the entire movie. It was also one of the most difficult to shoot, since the Zero replicas were flying at full throttle...

I have one FOV Spitfire I bought because it was the only game in town. Trust me, one of these is all anyone will need. I will be waiting for the 21C version before I buy another. 8) Likewise. Until 21st announced a Spit, all we had were Unimax and Corgi (Which wasn't really an option for me ...

I'm curious as how 21st Century's upcoming 1/32 Spitfire will compare to FOV's Spitfire---FOV's weathering is impressive while 21st planes have little, if any, weathering on theirs. http://www.21stcenturytoys.com/area21/articles.asp?newsID=324 I don't think the lack of weathering will keep the 21st...

Like Col. Pickle, I shop online as well. I don't live far from the border, but the Wal-Marts and TRU's over there are quite few and they don't stock much (One time I checked the toy aisle at a Wally World and found just one "Miss Bonnie" P-51D. :?)

Haven't seen anything in terms of pictures, but given how well their F-4J did, I wouldn't be suprised that BBI is following up that success with a Starfighter in 1/32nd. If it is true, this will be good news for us 1/32nd fanatics. There is also rumor flying around that it might be in Vietnam camo, ...

Great piece. If your canopy is loose, try gluing some strips of elastic bands to the inside of the canopy. I had my eyes set on the Fleet Air Arm Corsair, but when I found the Big Hog/Red 183 dogfight pack, I went with that instead. I was not disappointed.
