Re: 1/18 A4E Skyhawk 2019

Like the idea that this will be fibreglass, a bit more stable than resin and a lot more lighter. This has piqued my interest in the Skyhawk. Personally keeping it simple without a deluge of moving parts is probably the way to go. If the F-4 turns out to be fibreglass too then again would be interest...

1/18 Harrier kit- Trumpeter - merit mold Jan 18

Looks like the Harrier will be released as a kit in Jan by Hobbyboss/Trumpeter. Box art shows a gun pack and a few additional pods.

Maybe Trump/HB could release the F-14 as a kit....

Re: Where is everyone?

Still here but don't visit as often since the demise of 21st Century and the lack of new releases. I really had my hopes pinned on an 1/18th F-4 whether from Admiral or 21st. Also the Skyraider...what a missed opportunity but understand why it never came to fruition. I still have a sizeable collecti...

Just to ask, did somebody mention an accessory armament pack to be made available separately for the Harrier? Wondering if it would include a belly gunpod and additional laser guided bombs, litening pod etc.. Or perhaps I just imagined I heard this one...

Re: REVIEW OF THE 1/18 scale Harrier AV-8B

I had heard several years ago from a reliable source that a harrier was coming out but given the time that has passed I never believed it. Just is strange that after all of the hype and suspense it appears a simple functioning and rather crucial aspect such as sliding canopy (if i interpreted this o...

Re: COMIC CON 2014

Hoping to see photos of the Harrier all painted up soon. Speaking of photos did anyone take any of the bottom of the aircraft or that of the landing gears extended out? That would be nice to see. I (finally) got my story finished, has photos of the underside/wheels/etc. Also estimated price, releas...

Here's a thought what happened to all the Phoenix missiles they must have had in inventory once the Tomcat was decommissioned? At a $1m price tag each, as I'm led to believe....quite expensive to just scrap...or did they just have a free for all shoot out against F-4 drones by the end?

Fightertown decals are very high quality with a tight film backing, I use them on smaller scales without silvering if you have a good glosscoat- they look painted on. I'm about to order the Cat S**tch Fever from them directly as I usually order locally here in the UK. Look forward to further decals ...

The rumor has always been Trumpter was in a deal with Admiral on the Dauntless. If any body has...

Likelihood is that the paint used on the plane will be acrylic based- any acid will eat through and ruin the finish further. I'm not sure how this aircraft has been finished- however the shade looks like US modern light gull gray. Testors, xtracolour, lifecolor, vellajo all do a version that can be ...
