Re: Pickelhaube's Consignment Corner

Matthew those are the ordinal Tiger I tracks from 21st arn't they? Did you tie them down with thread ?
The tracks do look great, the way they sit on the road wheel...just right! 👍🏽

I know Pat at battleground models was planning on making 3D printed Tiger I tracks in the future.

Re: Pickelhaube's Consignment Corner

Excellent Matthew, your Stug IV came out great and then the camo...outstanding! Your Tiger I is fantastic, switching the bottom halfs of the Bravo and 21st tanks is much easier than one would think. After seeing the work it took for jnewboy to do, I thought there has to be a better way, switc...

Re: 1/18 Jagdpanzers

Here is another of Aracula's Jagdpanzers, I gave it zimmerit and a repaint, didn't like the first paint scheme. Just working on the weathering. Great kit! https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/a551/Normandy02/IMG_4141_autfRacJG42hR9Ye6Xax7T.jpeg https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/a551/Normandy0...

Re: 1:18 Jagdpanther G II Zerstörer

Hey Andrew, these paper panzers are a mix of proposed ideas and molders have taken artistic license with armament, design and paint schemes.
Short answer...mine, same 88mm gun as the Jagdpanther, minus the muzzle brake.

If you search Jagdpanther II you'll come up with many different versions.

Re: 1:18 Jagdpanther G II Zerstörer

In 2001 I came across a book by Edward F NcCrane, Exotic Panzers in Miniature. published by Schiffer military history books. One of his projects was this Panther variant in 1:35. By this time I was collecting and doing custom projects in 1:18, so thats how it started. As I stated at the start, the b...

1:18 Jagdpanther G II Zerstörer

This is a custom project I did many years ago...but I never liked the finished look of it. Last month I ordered some Battleground Models "Panther Tank Track Links-Full Set" and gave the old panther a new paint scheme and some added details. This tank destroyer never existed, only on paper...but what...

Re: Pickelhaube's Consignment Corner

Very nice looking Matthew! The first thing I see is the brake and clutch lever/handles in the correct position, something
that wasn't on the original kit. Then the gas can and mounting bracket.
I've got six of these and I see they need updating.
