Re: Russian markings

I believe they are both, some political slogans and others dedications. Sometimes towns people would donate money and pay to have a tank built for the war effort and a dedication put on. Verlinden had a 1:16 decal sheet with some Russian slogans and the translation. similar to this one. https://web4...

Re: What does the wife really think about 18th ?

I'm a little late to this topic but my wife is supportive of my 1:18 collection and custom work.
Over the years she has given me many of the pieces in my collection, this year was no acceptation.
Three 1:18 diecast cars (WWII era) and a few custom kits from Battleground Models.
She's the best!

Re: Citroen Traction

Axis, I just got two of these for Christmas. one will stay as is the other a different paint job.
Very nice detail on the car and the paint scheme is nicely done. This is a nice piece to add to a
1:18 display or diorama. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Battleground new items December 2019

Hey Grunt you've made some fantastic items. My wife gave me one of your Henschel HS-293 Flying Bomb kits along with two VW custom kits and a set of Tiger I air filters. The detail is great and the items are sturdy. If photobucket ever gets its act together I'll post some pics. Guys if your into cust...

Re: How To Make Easy Realistic Looking Tracks

Hey Matthew the Jumbo tracks look the part. I'm at the American Museum of Armor several time a year and their armor runs in open grass fields, on dirt / gravel roads and on concrete...your 1:18 tracks have the same dirty dusty textured look of those 1:1 armor pieces at the Museum. Nicely done and th...

I like these railway transport cars. They would look good with armor or vehicles on them, great

Thats a nice looking model kit and 200 Euros is not a bad price considering
I just saw a 1:72 dicast Ju 52 for $139.95 in Historic Avation.
The 5 plus foot wing span might be an issue but it sure would look cool.

Re: 1:12 Figures

I find these figures interesting, the head sculpts are great and the equipment is very detailed.
I started with 1:6 Dragon in '99 and then found 21st's 1:18 line, needless to say I've stuck with 1:18 and now
I'm running out of space. :?
A nice alternative to 1:6 and more detailed than 1:18.
