Re: UPDATE on my F14 pilots

Hi any chance of sculpting the helmet closer to the F-14's instead of using the F-16 and F-18 pilot's? Also I think the vest molded on with the accessories would be good enough. Overall this looks promising!

3 3/4 inch Sideshow Dusty by vince_chua

This custom is inspired by Sideshow and another customizer by the username WeaponXcustoms in another forum. I only collect 3 3/4 inch figures and always thought I would try to make the Sideshow figures into this scale. I didn't really set about doing it until I saw 'WeaponXcustom's POC Dusty'. His w...

C.I.A. S.A.D. Night Ops Squad by vince_chua

Hi everyone, I finally finished my 5 member C.I.A. S.A.D. Night Ops. The Squad leader and the assault member are actually based on the 1:6 scale toys from SoldierStory. The rest are mix and match. http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/9153/ciasadnightopssquad.jpg http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/4287...

Re: Is there interest in a step ladder for the F-14 ? 2nd p

I'm interested only if I can get that door to open. Right now it is glued shut by JSI (No idea why they do things like this???) Anybody know how to get it open?

If it opens, I'm interested in a functional one.

Re: Pizza Guys Ladders

Nathan has been known for the many things he has come up with, i.e, his stands etc. I just received his new ladders for my F-16s and F-18s and all I can say is, They are Fantastic. For those who have lost or misplaced their original factory ladders, his are by far so much better looking than the or...

Re: F16 & F18 Boarding ladders

Received the ladders yesterday. My jaws dropped to the floor. It is amazing to see so much details put into them. There are 'rivets' which the photos couldn't show.

Now my 2 'ladderless' planes are 'complete'.

Once again THANK YOU Nathan!!!

Some of the BBI heads can fit on the 21st Century XD bodies. Hi Razor17019, thanks for the info but I find the 21st Century bodies have very bad legs. And I only have the figures that come with the humvee and the Super Cobra. Maybe the head on the BBI figures? I'm actually thinking of getting more ...

Question Regarding Customizing BBI Figures

Hi all,

I'm new to the BBI Figures and I want to swap parts for them.

Can I just boil the figure and pull out its head and Shoulder joints or are there other methods?

Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Vince

Re: Canopy

Vince....if it helps any...in the MiG-29k posting cited above (a few posts down) we talked about removing the canopy. Its easier than you think, but don't try and force it too much or you risk breaking it. The way I cured the "floppy canopy" was simply too...I just added two thin "shims" of flat st...
