1:18 AV-8B from Merit?
Hey guys, I am not usually a source for 1:18 info, and I really am not sure if you guys have already discussed this, but I thought I would share a photo one of my local hobby businesses posted to their Facebook. The owners are at the Best of the West Show in Las Vegas right now and the caption of th...

Interesting subject matter. Not exactly my cup of tea, but maybe they will appeal to enough people out there to get them to make other vehicles. Hopefuly something a bit more interesting than an unimog .

Re: Custom 1/32 Panther ausf. D (WIP 4/2/15)
Thanks guys. Progress has been slow because I am taking the time to make molds of most of the pieces. I say most because I am not going to make molds for all of the crazy detail that I plan on doing on this tank. For example, I started to make the working drivers hatch in the upper glacis for my tan...

Another quick pic of some progress I made after I got home from work today: http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn185/Panzerarm/20150402_235604_zpsmofimmt5.jpg I have tomorrow off, so I am hoping to get the hatch for the commander's cupola done, as well as the hinge mechanisms for those glacis plate ...

Purchased a 1/32 Corgi P-51 from Harry Worthan (Hworth18) recently and just wanted to share with everyone how much of an outstanding member he is of this forum. Re: I've never seen this before. Another dying effort of 21s
Yeah, that is implied from the appearance of the box, and the fact that the seller said it was from a marketing rep. What I was getting at was that towards the end there 21st was really grasping at any way to get their product out the door. My guess is that this may have been the next series of Wal-...

Unfortunately CplClade, it is not movable. I did a write-up on how to rectify this a few years ago, back when webshots hosted all my pictures. Sorry to hear that PH. Get well soon as they say, and don't let something like making molds and casting parts keep you from getting the rest you need to recover in a timely fashion.

Custom 1/32 Panther ausf. D (WIP 4/29/17)
Hey guys, just wanted to share with everyone that I have been using some of the spare time I have been blessed with lately to get back into the hobby. I have been inspired by Ledhead's ausf. A and wanted to do a Panther as well. I chose to do the D model, the initial variant that first saw action in...

Add if you happen to be in the market to sell any casts of those hull side plates lemme know. I am starting work on a set tonight, but I really like the way yours turned out and I am hoping to at best achieve a similar result. Same goes for the driver/radio operator hatches and roof plate.

Still pretty hesitant with those $65+ price tags, but I guess if I get them now and they get cheaper I can just buy some more

It was only a matter of time the way they were handling themselves and their product. Now the question is, do we buy up the stuff of theirs we haven't bought yet because it was overpriced, but now disappearing? Or do we wait until the "US Distributor" they sold all their inventory to sells it off, h...

Oh man I wish I could, but the wife would kill me. Most I see on eBay are going for around $180, and with one kiddo already and another one on the way, my gut instinct says it's probably not a prudent purchase either. If I could find one for less that $100, maybe, but until then I can't see myself m...

They can't just give them to the Army because of a stupid rule made after WWII separating the forces. They are ones who really need them and could loose lives when they are gone. Remember the USAAF? :? The Air Force can stick to their Nintendo warfare. Sure is shameful how political it all is... No...

Thanks CplSlade, this is exactly what I was looking for. It seems for the money, the later 21st Century P-51D is the one for me. If only I could find a Corgi one for <$100 I would opt for it but methinks that is a fantasy I may never see.
