Ah...the good old days of taking one of my days off to cruise the isles in Wally World and Toys R Us. Not just 1/18th scale, but 1/6the scale as well. There was nothing to compare with making the gold score or something new or unannounced.

Okay guys...the cockpit is now one big unit...I closed it all up. These pictures are a test fitting to make sure everything is in its proper place. It fits!

Well AN....I haven't gotten there yet. I have to get the whole cockpit and gunners tub together before I can mount it between the fuselage halves and then get the fuselage ready to mate with the wings....so...I have alot of work yet I can screw up (oh I hope not). But thank you for the kind words.

Well...it finally happened....the placards and data plates came in. Thank ya Jesus-a! Now I can finish the cockpit tub and start working on the fuselage...film at eleven...

Some hold down straps and decals...that's all that's left.

You can't get much more yellow than that! Primary paint is done.

The beginning of a flightline fire extinguisher...

It was suggested by a friend that ground crew and equipment would be a nice addition for this aircraft. The boarding ladder is just the start. I am also working on a flightline fire extinguisher and a plane captain grounds crewman. Wheel chocks are almost done. Then I'll work on the backdrop and see...

Just a little side-work while I wait for parts on another project. The original boarding ladder was too toyish for my tastes, so I have made a new one. Still needs paint, but I got it close I think.

Cut a small rectangle out and fold it in half. CA glue the back side only on the bulkhead immediately and centered on the gear leg....
