thanks for the suggestions everyone, I dissassembled the wing, krazy glued it back, and realized I can just loosen the "pressure brace" on top if I want to raise the strut without it snapping again. I like the idea of inserting a pin, but I'll see how this works.

some new stuff...

1/32nd british an africa troops, 5-6 boxes each at only 1 of 6 walmarts. old and new 1/32nd armor, including cold steel kits of old ones. Like other areas there is an overabundance of 1/6th stuarts (all schemes) hummers, and m1a1's. Also most walmarts have both colors of the rc panzer and m113. And ...

I just wrote in the walmart thread about seeing an air force 104 in wm, there were none there the day before; after collecting this stuff since 2000, I tend to believe they only got a box of 4 assorted??? 104, 109g-6 sahl, black p-40 and ? there were no duplicates, only these three. Does this make s...

replenishment??? we don'need no steenkin replenishment

a couple of local walmart toy dept managers/workers showed no interest in special ordering stuff here in atlanta; their hand held scanners only serving to identify the product and tell how many they showed to have in stock (approximately). I firmly believe that if you like the thrill of the hunt, wh...

1/32nd kits

I finally saw some of the 1/32 armor kits, m-113 and flak panzer, mobil wagon--- they seem heavier than the finished offerings, are they cold steel? maybe the box makes them seem heavier and is the paint scheme any different, the picture on the box seems the same- whats the point in making a kit to ...

I've noticed down here that if you see at the most, two boxes of anything, thats about all you'll see. There's almost always BCA if al...

Hey y'all; I've got a question... I recently came across a box of new 1/32 planes from 21st buried on the top shelf of one of the local walmarts. I got the british p-40, black 1 fw, grey-262 and left the others. Of course the next day the p-51, orly 109, and angi p-47 were gone. THE QUESTION IS... W...

one more goody fer ya--

a 1/18th panzer iv box with a dime store psuedomilitary looking vehicle jammed in it, the box has clear packing tape plastered on both sides. After the numbnuts allowed a return on the "tank", they were gracious enough to put a big red SALE-30.00 roundel on the box. Now thats knowing how to do it....

Well, well, well...the one box of white1, red 3, eileen, snorting bull, and eaglestons showed up at the dobbins arb walmart in marietta today. With the two fw's and an eileen at 14.96 apiece and no wasted gas (on the way home), I consider it good day- they all look pretty good overall. I'm starting ...

its certainly easy to give BCA a credit card # and the price is fair, but some of us have turned the recon act at the wm's into an art. Every once in a GREAT while, you notice the new box ends, usually on the top shelfs, and advance quickly with tunnel vision toward the objective-- A new batch of 10...

with the marines being available at BCA; the WM sightings may be a moot point. 1 of the WM's here in atlanta has a batch of them- several pilots and diff patton figures included. there are about 3-4 of each of the marine figures and less of the two bob german figures. i'm quite sure i'm the only one...

bbi P-51's at TRU

are many of you finding the bbi "killer" in stores? i just saw 8 of them on the shelf at the TRU in alpharetta off 400 north of atlanta. this is good to see but i really wonder if we may see some of the f-16, f-18 at retail anytime soon. the p-51s are at 39.00 plus tax, i guess you can save a decent...

good afternoon.. i found a bunch (a box)of the new figures at one of the walmarts today-on the top shelf in the lego section. there are no japanese figures, though, just several of each marine, one each of the patton figures , a corsair pilot, a couple of the german varieties (two types). i had to g...
