Twin engine planes...yes, but I think the more engines the better. Heavy bombers would fit nicely in the 1/18 scale size boxes...now that would be cool. 8)

Since when is 1/6 the dark side? i was collecting Joes when i was 12 or 45 years ago. I agree. I always considered 1/32 the dark side.....you can't resist THE POWER OF THE DARK SIDE . Actually, I'm a little concerned that 1/32 will go the way of 1/18th (sporadic releases, no news). Combine...

Thanks Corey. The paint detail on the figures is excellent. Wonder why Hobby Master couldn't do this for $160? :?

Still waiting for pics, unless I missed something. For those of that have the plane, I would also like some information on one detail: In the Bad Cat pics it looks like the fuselage seam of the plane does not run up over the tail but bends around, so the tail piece is entirely on one of the two mold...

The badcat pics don't give a good angle on the size of the pilot but it does give one piece of info,"The rear gunner is actually only half a figure and he won't fit in the plane with the included rear canopy in the closed (non-combat) position."!!! ? Looks like some custom work might be in order. Th...

Sure would be nice if someone "knocked one out of the park" by making a twin engine fighter or light bomber. Even a 1/32 Avenger would be cool. 8)

Thanks for the info. How does the landing gear look extended? are the wheel wells detailed?
Also, for those canopies that don't stay on / shut I recommend glue dots. They work great and are not permanent. You can find them at any crafts store.

21st C Spitfire review, please?

For those of you who are the proud owners of the new 21st Century 1/32 spitfire, would some one please post a review with pictures?
Thanks. :)

Very impressive. And they remembered the sand filter on the air intake!! And the antenna wiring!!!! If the production versions have the same level of detail in weathering and exhaust residue, it will be considered one of the best. I wonder if this version will be another r-1 variant (under wing cann...

Let's be creative here. Instead of a wish list, lets be specific. What color scheme do you want on that T-34? Who's Me 110 do you want represented or what color scheme would you like to see? Let's see some profiles!! Or better yet, the color scheme, the unit or group, or the individual during a sign...

NEW 1/32 IDEAS!!? Anyone?

I have had this idea for a while, and it may be that it has already been done, but I am starting this thread in order to give us, as enthusiasts, a creative outlet. What are your ideas? What would you like to see in 1/32? From repaints to new tooling? Please keep it on topic and avoid debates or neg...

I'm looking forward to it. If it is anything like the quality of their 1/18 stuff, it should be a treat. I just wish it was a little less expensive.

Even if though I don't necessarily agree with the decision to keep the swastikas off the planes, I can't fault them for doing it. What retailer wants a bunch of protesters marching in front of their store because they happen to sell a toy that offended someone? Now, I am in favor of applying the swa...

aktiger - Not every one can drop $100+ on (1) plane. Agreed...but, the dog that sniffs about, finds the bone. I paid about $120 for both (2) of my Corgi Old Crows's. It seems BBI has decided to sell plastic 1/32 for almost the same price. If you have never picked up one of the Corgi's, your missing...

I voted no. Corgi has already done both in 1/32 diecast and I own both. I prefer the green one.
If you want one, I highly recommend picking up one of these, they are worth it.

Any thing, at this point. I would love to see a heavy but a light bomber such as a B-25, B-26, B-27....I can see it now, tight box formation hanging from the ceiling with a fur ball of p-51's and 109's around them...might need a bigger ceiling.

Looks like BBI has decided to go toe to toe with 21C in 1/32!!

Does this mean the continued demise of 1/18?

One question on the BBI releases....is the undercarriage static (like their F4) or does it feature retractable landing gear? The information I have seen so far is conflicting.

Did you know Revell is coming out with a Ju 88 in the fall?! This one will be on the "got to have" list. Just think...a Ju 88 being chased by a new 21st C spitfire being chased by a 109E! 8)

Does anyone suspect there will ba a dumping of 1/18 now as collectors scale down?
Just the opposite, as Ebay prices have shown. As 1/18 releases become fewer and fewer and an increasing number of collectors worldwide search for older releases, the prices will continue to go up.

This probably is a dumb question, but what was the first one?
F-4 Phantom was the first 1/32 BBI release but I'm not sure if it was a "historic aviation exclusive".
