Re: Hitler's trip to 2014 Comic Con

Hitler responds to 2014 Comic Con and not seeing the 1/18 Fw-190a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHyb_JA4HbU :D :D :D This is not funny and TOTALLY NOT CALL FOR. We at Merit work so hard to service the hobby and you turn around and treat us like this. The 1/18 hobby is already dying, your inconsid...

Re: FLIGHT WING MORE RELEASES DUE SOON

Hello Jim@Merit, any chance of Merit doing 1:18 armor? A King Tiger or re-release of the Panzer IV? I'd welcome a Bf - 109 G-6 (as stated above) with an awesome paint scheme. 8) Merit is shifting the scale for ground vehicles and artillery to 1/16. It is better to direct the Bf-109 G-6 questions to...

Then again, the JSI paint department might give Marge a mustache...because you know "it's part of the weathering process"

Re: FLIGHT WING MORE RELEASES DUE SOON

Hello Jim@Merit - I would like to ask - Does that mean you know that the '262 is the Admiral model, and the '109 will be the G6 ex 21st version? Regarding the Avenger, I too would prefer the 'wings fixed' option as I'm another one with TBF wings glued in position following hinge fails. (And again t...

Re: FLIGHT WING MORE RELEASES DUE SOON

If they make a George HW Bush Avenger, I will get it. 21c killed that model with bad QC issues and releasing droves of the least-popular scheme first. I really like the Flight 19 planes and especially the Bunker Hill Avenger, but the Atlantic version never warmed up to me (though I do have one). It...

Re: Where is the 1/18 A-1 Skyraider, F-4 Phantom and F-15 Ea

Why don't we start making things in the good ole' USA again ?? I'm sure an F-4, A-10 and a F-15E would sell real well, just my 2 cents. Steve That would be great, maybe Jason good give a better answer than I could. My thought, is the cost....molds, production materials and labor. Other alternatives...

Melvin, do you know if Xaiohaoshou is part of JSI or do they make the models for them? And then Merit distributes them? I wish someone from 21st could tell us what went down and how its all come to this.... :| One thing I'd like to see is the return of the 1:18 Panzer IV...............I don't know ...

Re: Trumpeter 1/18 109E

Hello. I guess we better come out and make things clear. The 1/18 Me1109, Me262A and F-86 are all JSI products. JSI, Merit and Trumpeter all use the same marketing sales group in Asia,... so some hobby shops owners are confused and list them all as Trumpeter because JSI and merit are new to the mark...

Re: merit Announcment

I could agree that $190 to $200 for the Harrier's price would be reasonable. I bought both Dauntless's for $169 (minus shipping) which is the 1/18 standard bearer for detail. I don't think the Harrier will eclipse the Dauntless for detail. Match, sure. Exceed, no. The F-14 for detail (disregard the...

Thanks for the reply Jim! Will Merit ever produce new 1:18 armor or just the 1:16 stuff? :D For now, we already have two 1/16 Model Kits announced: 1. 1/16 U.S. M198 155mm Medium Towed Howitzer 2. 1/16 WWII German s.F.H. 18 15cm Howitzer They are both good size, simple to build model. Yes, we are c...

I just saw in my email that Bad Cat Toys will have the 1/18 88mm kit for $75. Is anyone actually going to buy this thing? So many small parts I dont really see it being a clear choice for anyone I know that collects 1/18 scale. If it were 1/16 they could make a fortune but I know they just want to ...

JSI F-86

Dear All

Failed to point out that the landing wheel wells are all new tooling as well as the intake and exhaust covers.

http://merit-intl.com/product/JSI-60022/

Production run is small, just to allow those who missed out in the past, a chance to fill their collection.
