Re: New Merit 1/18 DAUNTLESS DISCUSSION
JIM@MERIT: I just ordered a Coral Sea Dauntless a few minutes ago. My only complaint about the model is that it needs pilot figures. To me, a model plane, particularly as large as 1/18, is naked without pilots. For the price of almost $170, I think pilots should be included. If Merit cannot provide...

Re: New Merit 1/350 USS Hornet (CV-8) Pre-built model at iHo
Badcat has their preorder up for the Hornet: http://www.badcattoys.com/shipsandsubs.html They've listed it for $129.99 with free shipping, so a little cheaper than the shop above. Aparently, there are two versions of the ship: A Doolittle Raid version and a Midway version. The planes are sold seper...

Re: New Merit 1/18 DAUNTLESS DISCUSSION
MTS ad says 'canopy in open or closed position', which i take to mean there are two seperate canopies that you plug in, depending on which option you prefer. This is along the lines of what Jason said Admiral was considering and also makes sense given the plastic model kit origins of this plane. ht...

Very sorry for not being able to keep up with the post. Just to clear a few things: 1. This is Merit's own development and is not related to other development projects of the past. 2. Our SBD will have moving parts and not a static display model. 3. We are also anxiously waiting for test shots from ...

or AllGo hasn't contacted them with the legalities of it yet. You may well see the pre-order come down shortly. And i don't think it's JSI behind it. If JSI had the 88 molds we would have seen it before now...plus they developed their own packaging. This is somebody else's doing. Thank you for your...
