I picked up an Alumilite casting kit at Hobby Lobby not too long ago.
The first two things I wanted to do were fallschirmjager helmets and us 105 HEAT shells for my M7.
These are my best results out of three atempts so far...

You know what I've used before Razor, is tile grout. It comes in a wide variety of colors and two textures, sanded and non sanded. The reason I use it is becuase I have access to free material - partially used on jobs - it is a cement and the non sanded is smooth and looks like mud. I used on my win...

OK, I am blaming peer pressure :D I just ordered a pair of Panthers plus a couple 1/32 pieces for a coworker and the total was $100 shipped - Just a single Panther would be about that with shipping most places! I feel the same way... because I just did the exact same thing (- the 1/32 stuff) justif...
