Re: Corsair replacement wheels. Available now.
Jay, Did you drill out the old screws out of the old tires? I actually dont have screws. I have flat metal things that I can't seem to get to unscrew. Did you just go buy some screws from your local hardware store. Can you show/ explain how you got the screws out. Did you have actual screws in yours...

Re: Corsair replacement wheels. Available now.
I guess I was the guy they cancelled. I guess I'll have to get them re-run the order. Kinda weird they would give a "In store credit". Why they wouldn't just re-run my order is beyond me. Oh well.

I paid $22.60 for the set about a week ago. Hopefully, I'm not the guy they can process. I paid this through PayPal.

The project really is not any farther along. The canopy still needs major work. Not to mention the whole aircraft. Anyway, I was painting something else and I had left over paints from my lucky 13 tomcat. I figured I would give it a light dusting for fun. Supersonic there is a 99% this will not be t...

Re: What Might Have Been ....Will The A-10 Become A Reality
I most likely would buy 3. I personally think $500 is low. Sorry guys, some tomcat repaints have gone for as much $1200.00. A good 1/32 scale kit can cost close to $200.

Re: F-16 Radome removal
Hard. Personally, I don't think it's worth it. I used a candle and exacto knife. Takes a while. You could get it off quicker but you would lose lots of material. Don't do it.

I'm not sure what happened but the pictures got all jumbled up. On my home computer they were correct. I'm on the road now looking at them through my iPad and they're all messed up. Huh. Well I'll fix them when I get home.
Thanks for the kind words guys.

Same as other thread: Hello guys, I have not been on here for some time and have not been able to work on the Hornet at all. I have a very sick little girl but things are getting better. Hopefully, I can get cracking on it soon. The canopy needs some work to make it right. Its not there yet. Pizzagu...

Great job Pizza,
Sign me up for a few sets of hornet nozzles. If you had time a more open set would be cool of the F-18 and F-14a.
Again great job!

Righton Pickle. Here's alittle more detail on where I went with my canopies. Here's the Hornet. This canopy is far from finished but these pics will show how I did it. http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv216/Kroll777/Canopies/2012017.jpg http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv216/Kroll777/Canopies/20...

Re: How to make canopies
It turn out really great!! How do you heat the thick styrene sheet before vacuum? I don't think canopy can't be cast in clear, coz I never success! In the picture above you'll see a frame. Sandwich the plastic between the two frames. The vacuum form box with the vacuum running will be on the floor ...

Re: How to make canopies
Flyboy, Yeah that's what I'll do on my F-18D. The f-16 you see I used the clay to form the canopy frame. My goal was to cast the canopies. It turned out to be a real pain to cast in clear. I'll show some pictures of my canopy casts. They came out great until I tried to cast them in clear. That cast ...
