So does anyone have any tips on taking the cockpit section off for re-packing? I've got to bring it back to my place after the holidays, and it's simply too big to put in my car assembeled

Not sure, it came in an orange shampoo looking bottle. GoJo in there is white, with little 'beads' or 'grains'

That the right stuff?

Got mine today I freakin' love it! Gave it a go with the GoJo on one of the fuel tanks to see how much work was involved...yea...I'm just going to have to live with the spots. Either I wasn't rubbing hard enough (which I didn't want to do), or it just didn't work, either way I'm happy. My only compl...

What is it going to take to get some instructions on applying GoJo? Do I have to make a whole new thread? I've asked twice, and sent a PM...anyone?

Well i used the Gojoe on the standard verson and then used the Pro Modeller Black weathering wash on it...I was always planing on using the weathering with this standard version. It turned out better then the spots being on there. This does take more time using Gojoe and it's not bad but i think re...

p.s. I am going to display mine without munitions, as it will be in the cold and dark configuration. Fuel tanks yes, racks for Aim-9/Aim-7 yes.

Might make a custom weapons truck, have a sparrow in the process of being raised to the bird, that'd be cool

I've been thinking of getting an airbrush just for this job. TKO's work was impressive, but I'm not looking for a 100% clean bird. Any way you could film/take photos of a little tutorial on how you did it? I'm new to airbrushing, so any info helps (I understand the 50/50 part, half paint, half thinn...

Honestly...why would anyone want to roll their Tomcat? Diego, good question, you will see when you get your plane, sometimes you want to move it slightly and one of the pegs will fall out, even if you pick it up and turn it around you risk the pegs falling out of place. And one of them you literall...

P47, yours looks great! Can barely see any spots!

One thing though (for accuracy) the wings, in flight (which I pressume is what you're going for) would not be swept back 100%. The configuration you have the wings in is for when the aircraft is cold/dark, and parked

What do you mean by 'ladder', the hinge where the ladder is folded up in? Or the actual ladder?

How about posting some photos...
