When I started this thread back on April 27th, I had no idea it would make AllGo so mad they would shut down their website! I guess it's all my fault, guys :?
Well, I guess that's it, for a while at least, on new 1/18th aircraft releases...

Outstanding job! And I guess I see Snake's point about a $200 unfinished model...Still, I wouldn't trade either one of my repainted F14's - They just ended up costing me a "little" more than I had palnned

I would be in for a clipped wing Spitfire. As long as it was painted, and $250 or less. And I would prefer a late model,Griffon powered Spit.Although I understand that this is almost a totally different aircraft than the 21C MK1. Not sure if it could be done for the $250 price point. Matthew,if you ...

I'm sure the international market for 1/72 is the biggest overall for diecast, but 1/32 is also very popular in the U.S. and companys like Corgi, Unimax, etc. appear to have had great success with that scale. At any rate, I hope we get a chance to see some of your products available in the U.S. mark...

Everyone has their own opinion, myself included, so here's mine... 1.) I have never cared for the BBI P51's tail gear - It seems to sit too low & too far forward - 21C appears to be more accurate. 2.) BBI's auxiliary fuel tanks seem to sit too far back, under the wing, vs 21C's. 3.) The canopy on my...

I likely will buy it when, and if, it is produced, but no preorder...I haven't preordered Passion Wagon either, but I intend to get that one as well... In today's market, speaking as a consumer, I don't believe it is neccesary to preorder one of these planes (exception would be ultra limited edition...

Historic Aviation

Just got Historic Aviation's summer catalogue...I guess it's the kid in me, but I still enjoy getting "fun" stuff in the mail! Anyway, my point is that that catalogue is a real "barometer" on the world of small scale military collecting...I mean going back 3 or 4 years, it was so full of 1/18th plan...

Amazing work! My Dad was a navigator on a B24 with the 15th out of Italy...He was shot down on a raid over Bucharest and spent the final 14 months of the war in a German prison camp.
I've got a Corgi 1/48 scale B24, a super nice model for sure, but would I love to have it in a 1/32 scale!

Buckyroo, if you don't mind my asking, how much filing did you do on the gear supports to get the correct stance? That is an issue I have always had w/21C's 1/18 109G's (not so on their 1/32 versions)...It really became obvious when I got my BBI 109...I have been hesitant to modify the supports beca...

I'd say buy it, especially if the price is right...You should be prepared to pay extra $$$ to possibly repaint/fix spots and change main gear, but that is not mandatory... Look, it is really a fantastic model despite the "warts"...The 1/18 aircraft market has changed forever which means way fewer ne...

Awesome paintjob, awesome scheme! In spite all the negatives that came with the JSI F14, none of these repaints would have been possible if JSI hadn't produced it in the first place. Is this possibly the most repainted 1/18 aircraft ever produced? If not now, one day it will be. I've got my "Special...
