Three words-
Bee. Twenty. Five.
This is awesome news. It's like the hobby took a year hiatus, and now is back in full swing. Can not believe that we will have both JSI and the new 21st releasing models, whether repaints or not! It is a heck of a lot better situation then like March 2009.

i fully agree. why do a relatively obscure scheme when the gunship grey looks so good and has some pretty recent and significant history to it. Hopefully saner heads will prevail at JSI...although after the spot fiasco, that may be a stretch. OK, I do agree, it was kind of odd for them to do this s...

If this plane comes up for preorder, I will be preordering it the first day. This paint scheme is so much more awesome than a typical and common low-vis gray. Of course the F15 looks great in any color, but the IDF scheme is actually like camoflauge (sp?)

Can someone post a comparison shot between the F14 and a 1:18 P51 or Me 262? Just want to compare it to my models.
Thanks

This would be awesome!
1/18 Saturn V- would be more than 20 feet high!
However, an F1 engine on a dolly would be possible.....

Those aircraft HAD precedents
That is definitely true. JSI had nothing (other than the real thing!) to base their F14 off of.

That sure is amazing! If there is one thing differently I would do if I had all those aircraft in that space, I would have hung them up in large formations- say like a formation of all your Me-109's, Stukas etc. on one side of the room, and all the P51's, P47's etc. on the other side. I suppose you ...

You definitely are not! This paint scheme is my favorite for the F15- any version. It looks so different from almost any other paint job on any modern plane. (Well, except other Israeli Air Force aircraft)

Christmas has come early with this discovery! (Also a great Chanukah gift!) I am so glad for you guys that there is something that will make your plane look like it should, without breaking the bank (more) This may have saved JSI, even though they of course made a mistake. (Not here to argue this po...

That C-17 banks like nothing else... like a MASSIVE sized fighter jet! The handling with the fly by wire and stick opposed to yoke is amazing!
That thing is insane! WOW!

That's what I was thinking. What if somebody who does not go on these military forums searches 1:18 planes on the evilbay? They will have no knowledge of what is going on with the plane, and will expect it to look like the one pictured.

Probably one they already have on their website. I am thinking F15 or J11/SU27. They may want to spread out the time between the huge planes but I don't know. It is possible that they would do the Huey next.
