Really cool. looks to be based off of the FoV Tiger, can tell by the interior for sure. (though extra pieces like the ammo and ammo bins, among other small details, are new to this one)

I think me and a handful of others have switched over to 1/16 for armor, since it's always expanding and there are quite a few manufacturers of them. on the other hand I'd still pick up 1/18 planes, but not currently since they take up so much space

I voted A10 since 1:16 fills my armor void now. (4 manufactures offer the king tiger in static super detail and RC form, soon to be 5. and they offer both versions of the KT)

though I could see a 1:18 KT selling pretty well

that sherman isn't mine, a member on RCU took the guts out to make it into the nicest RC sherman around. (he saved the guts and make a display piece though)

inside shots. could use a little paint detailing. last picture shows the ring that holds the turret on (removable) http://origin-images.rcuniverse.com/forum/upfiles/301599/Dy80092.jpg http://origin-images.rcuniverse.com/forum/upfiles/301599/Xd81122.jpg http://origin-images.rcuniverse.com/forum/upfil...

the turret can easily be made to be removable ;) there's just an extra ring with no detail screwed onto the turret, remove it and the turret lifts off with all the detail to be seen (I did this to my tiger 1) you can even go further and leave the screws out of the bottom, and you have a lift off hul...

4" figs are actually the right size for 1/16

boy that doesn't sound like there's going to be a king tiger and a jagdpantehr any time soon.. But if Heng Long can make and sell 1/16 r/c tanks for just over $100, then why can't anyone else make non r/c 1/18 tanks for $70 or so? The rc crap has got to be 30% of the price. even as it is now the sm...

1/16 is REALLY filling the void for me

1/18 used to be half the price of armor in 1/16, now its either equal in price or double!

The one thing that's great about FOV's 18th line is the price! Ya want to call it a toy.....I don't give a  ........... The custom mods that can be made from these and 21st's 18th line are almost limitless. I like FOV's 1:16th line, the detail on the figures and tanks are incredible. For tho...

It seems strange to me for Unimax to support two scales so close in size, 1/16 and 1/18. In the past most companies used their resources for one or the other ie 1/76 or 1/72, 1/35 or 1/32,1/25 or 1/24. the 1:18 line is really just a line of "toys" their 1:16 line is a different beast and blows away...

I have four Heng Long tanks, a Panther, Tiger, Sturmgeschutz III and a Panzerkampfwagen III, even though these are RC, ninety-nine percent of the time they have no batteries in them. I bought them for the over all size and I admit it is alittle cool to run them around, but really its just about the...

Yeah, I'd take Mitch's advice and go for the FoV or the Heng-Long 1/16 scale version if you can afford it. Right now, 1/18 is going nowhere fast. So unless you want to be stuck with a couple tanks in your collection, I'd say opting for 1/16 armor/AC is the best alternative. And, anyways, as we've b...

before you guys go knocking on the price keep in mind it's an exact replica inside and out. even down to the wires/plumbing in the engine. the bars for the canvas top flip up too. the other offerings from the manufacturer are generally sports cars for the same price with far less features. and with ...

it came with the 2 FJ's and 2 commanders. The tank crew is from the Tiger 1. Basically got it for $300 shipped since it had no box. but look how much new 1:18 stuff is going for  :( http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m240/pnyk/0515001847.jpg http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m240/pnyk/05150018...
