Looks really great, especially the wear and tear and weathering of the tank and the zimmeritt. Great job. Oh yeah, I also think the mud in the the tracks and bogeys really helps the realism.

It looks great, Cabe. Very nice work. I like the scheme alot. You ought to keep it since it's your first Tiger repaint.

I'm going to stick with 1:18 and ride it out. It could be slow, it could get good again in the future, but I'm not interested in starting another scale. Besides, my wallet is thanking me for the lack of 1:18 to buy right now anyways. I'll just put that money into some of my other hobbies.

I would love to take a ride in that P-51, but I just can't swing the $2300 for half an hour. I did take a ride in the B-24 a few years ago, and it was amazing! I highly recommend it. Thanks for posting that link.

There were a few Platoon figures left, about 4 or 5. It looked like they had just put out the new figures.

P-38 XD custom F-5E Photo Lightning

Here is my custom XD P-38. I converted it to a F-5E photo recon variant. I modified the nose, but I just didn't get it quite as smooth as I wanted. Oh well. Here's the pics. <a href="http://img515.imageshack.us/my.php?image=xdcollection340uc5.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img515.imageshack.u...

Shipping is only $9.99 in the US, but then again, if I remember correctly, you're overseas so I have no idea what it is for you. I already have that particular plane, but its a pretty good deal for a pretty nice plane.

I did fly on the Collings Foundation's B-24 a couple of years back. When I got off the plane, I had a grin from ear to ear that took 2 days to get rid of. I also saw the Liberty Belle last year when it come through Houston on its tour of the US.

Just my 2 cents on the pricing of things, especially the Badcat Tiger scenerio of late. I am just getting tired of things that start off at a high price, then drop, then get adjusted again, then go back up, blah, blah, blah. Please just price things at a fair price, don't gouge. Sell it at what you ...

Strange that they're not carrying the newer items like the 262's and it doesn't look like the Panther, KT or 88 either. Yeah, I was kind of wondering the same thing. What's the point of TRU carrying XD items if they aren't going to be the place to get the newest releases for vehicles. Old repaints ...

All of the paint for the plane is testor's spray paint. I used Testor's gray primer for the base coat and Testor's silver for the bare metal. The blue, red, and white are Testors gloss colors.
