To open or not to open
Just wondering if you all open up and assemble your items or if you leave it boxed up because you think it will decrease the value to open it? I like to open my planes and even fly them around and chase the dog. I generally buy one of each type of plane unless they are cheap and then I buy one to op...

The P-47 bubbletop Eileen I got from Wal-Mart last week is in pretty poor shape. It has two fingerprints, a large paint glob of white and black on the underside behind the cowl and the engine and prop are not set straight in the nose. This plane is probably the worst quality of all the planes I have...

My wish list would include the century series planes (F-100, F-101, F-102,F-104, F-105, and F-106) as these have always been some of my favorites. Needless to say I was pretty excited when I found out about the 21C F-104. I doubt they will do the whole century series as I think some of the planes pr...

BBI to make 1:18 P-40?
I was on the Toys R Us web site yesterday and they have a BBI P-40 in 1:18 scale listed. It said it was not available yet. Anybody know if this is true or is this old news and I am just behind the curve?

New member looking for 1:18 XD buy, sell, trade
Hello, I am a new member looking to expand my 1:18 xd collection. I am willing to buy stuff outright, trade items, or just help you find what you want if I have it or can get it at the local Wal-Mart. It doesn't really matter to me if your items are still in the box or have been taken out as long as...

I am not sad to see TRU being sold, the ones in my part of town have just about nothing for the product lines that I like. I too remember the 80s and early 90s when I was a kid and TRU had all of the newest GI Joe stuff in its own aisle. I could pretty much spend all day in that place because it was...

I did forget to mention that I can still find the tan M113 for $20 at Wal-Mart right now and I have seen a few of the Bradley fighting vehicles, but don't remember the price on those. I was just glad to find this forum to talk about all of the cool 1:18 scale stuff that we all like to collect and to...

I'm new to the board and I read this whole thread just to see what planes wind up where. It was very interesting to me to see how unevenly some of the models get distributed throughout the country and how some planes wind up everywhere. Here's what's available here in the Houston area right now from...

The sku of the black 12 is 6 38748 10175 0 Just a note of interest, the sku is the same for all of the FW-190s no matter which plane it is or whether it is in the old Motorworks packaging or the new Ultimate Soldier XD blue box. I have all four of the 190 releases and checked all of the sku numbers ...
