Re: Monogram 1/32 SdKfz 232 Panzerspähwagen

You did a better job than I did. I found myself omitting details to make it look more like a PUMA. Plastic General You realize the puma had a 75mm cannon and a round turret not a 20mm gun like the Panzerspähwagen right? Excellent job on the early war scheme by the way cnq, I did mine as later war v...

Re: Forces of Valor cancels upcoming releases.

You seem to be putting all your eggs in a basket that hasn't even come to fruition yet. Hopefully the jpzIV is released in February from there who knows what will happen with that company but I wouldn't get overly excited just to be disappointed.

I would think it not a good sign that the release keeps getting pushed back.

Well you have competition! ME TOO! Someone should do some home made copies + some conversion added battle poses as a limited run for the die-hards like you and I. Sell toys is a substitute potentially for forces of valor not a replacement by any means. If they were a little more detailed they would be a replacement.

Interesting for the right price this could be a great piece. Seeing as its comparable to a CTS tank (missing some fine details and generic tracks) if they price if similarly ill be sure to pick up a few.

Re: COMING SOON 4 NEW 1:32 GERMAN SOLDIERS in WINTER GEAR

The set looks nice an the running poses are great (while it may seem redundant to have two poses running with them being armed differently you can pose them with the running mg gunner to have a machine gun crew moving to a new position.) The other two poses are a little lack luster but oh well. I do...

Re: FOV 1/32 Creighton Abrams "Thunderbolt" Sherman

The posting on the motor pool site was somewhat confusing is this sherman supposed to have a 76mm gun? That is what their posting seems to indicate.

Re: Can you ID this tiger?????

All I can tell you is it Is a late version Tiger 1 from Normandy/the campaign in france. I dont see anything on the tank that could distinctly identify it right off the bat. I know the 101 ss , 102 ss, and 503 heer all fought in the normandy campaign if that helps to lower it down for you.

Re: FOV Stummel!!!

Just a note although the common belief may be that all Waffen ss troops were equipped with some form of camo uniform be it smocks or dot 44 that belief is false. The Waffen ss at any point in the war never had enough camouflage unifroms to equip all of its personel (allthough they tried). This being...

Late Panther Ausf A. exhaust pipe question

I have seen some conflicting photos regarding the number of pipes on the left hand side. So my question is should a late ausf a have the main pipe plus the two extra on the left as in this photo, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v282/crockett007/DSC00688.jpg or the one as in this photo, http://www....

will they be plastic or metal? I know price is a factor for me at least and in the case of old nothwest trading company figures i buy the metal casting instead of the painted sets because of the difference in prices.
