Using Battleground Models Duck Bill End Connectors

Hey Guys . I made my duck bill end connectors years ago . With the pouring method I had to cut a resin flow vent through the back of each. They have to be sanded off and in some cases filled with putty re-sanded and so on. Going through this process I had it down to a 4 hour install from start to fi...

Re: Pickelhaube's Consignment Corner

Here is a new consignment . I used 1/16th decals which are to big. I had to wiggle it around the Cora King. I have since had 1/18th stencils made. https://photos.smugmug.com/Consignments/i-4brS7vD/0/7188446b/L/60781011036__E5360D97-B7AA-4DC8-ABB3-EB1F8EA093FC-L.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/Consign...

Re: 1/18 Scale M-4A3E8 The Easy 8 Info Needed On Tracks

I did get the tracks in and indeed they are wider. I instantly shut down the idea because I am an 1/18th scale purist . But they will work and as stated before the idea of making hundreds of tracks and lengths does NOT appeal to me. If I get time this week I will make a mock up to see what you guys ...

Re: Need Help On Easy Rider Huey

Thanks for your input Axis.

That kind of does not help me out.
I will try to make templates of ER but I need a square picture of the words.
I the drawing the letters look scrunched up because of the angle.

Re: Stug IV In 1/18th Scale

Hey Sanford so sorry about that . I change your name to the correct spelling. T-Man good questions 1. Right now I was just thinking of making the fighting compartment to fit on the 21st panzer . I realize that the panzers are getting hard to come by so I WILL be copying the 21st panzer's if the cust...

Re: 1/18th Scale Mi-24 Hind In Production !

I finished Lee P's UN Hind about a month ago . It took over 4 weeks to get to AZ I was just getting ready to file a claim and it popped up in great condition. The first one I shipped arrived broken in 2 pieces. The first one cost $30 to ship to Co and $180 to ship to AZ.   Anyw...

Re: 1/18th Scale Mi-24 Hind In Production !

Has anyone received their money back yet ?? I have not. I see all these nice statements by people and that’s all fine and good but I’m stuck with wasting a year waiting on this and now can’t justify paying an additional huge chuck of money for it that was thrown at me at the last minute. Sorry but ...

Re: Helpful Hints On Building Your Hind

Hey Guys, You guys who have the kits take off the rubber bands holding the main rotor blades together. The constant pressure from the bands WILL warped the trailing edges. It is a quick fix to put them back strait but will take a little time to do unless you put them out in the sunshine . Get a clot...
