Well, it was already painted an od green under it, so i did not have to paint that part, im sure it would look better if i had somehow pried them off, but i didnt want to take any chances. But if you were to try to remove them, i guess the best way is to just pry them, cause i dont know any other :c...

yes they are, one is the 1977 release ,and the other is a revell ag release one. Both do have the same molds however.
