Re: wooden model tanks, confiscated in Germany by an MP

Those maybe training aids to teach the German soldiers vehicle recognition. As far as restoring them, I would leave them as they are. You may end up actually decreasing the value of them, if you restore them.

Re: Tamiya Paint Quality Issues

I use Krylon flat white and flat back for my base coats. I buy them at Walmart and the bigger cans are a lot cheaper then Tamiya and they work just as well.

Re: Keepen busy in South Korea

I tried but I dont have enough rank to choose where I want to go. South Korea aint bad. Its not a 3rd world country. They have every thing over here and more. In some ways they are much more advance technicaly the the U.S. They also have a lot of pretty women over here. :D

Zap a gap glue, is that the one you get at the hobby shops? I used some from a local hobby shop but i cant remember the name. It was really good on plastic models. I also use super glue on larger parts, smaller parts I tend to stick my thumb and finger together. Ouch!!

Not to bad, You should replace the buttons with originals off of ebay. And dye the uniform a grey green color. You can get buttons cheap.
