I think something needs to clearly understood here, even though an individual may favor one aircraft, it should be said that we don't necessarily want it produced to the exclusion of all other aircraft. I think some individuals forget that. We all know I'd love an A-10 produced as well as many other...

It almost looks like an AVG scheme without the decals. Aren't they lighter? Like, you know, the one in my avatar picture? Actually, the AVG scheme is accurate for a British camo scheme. The P-40B/C's that the Tigers used were taken over from a group of 100 that were supposed to go to the British bu...

I'd give my left n@& to be able to. I've never seen her around town but a friend of mine has. I guess she keeps to herself when she is up here.

New 21C is great! Repainted P-51D = snooze.... I already have three D model Mustangs (one BBI and two 21C's)and I don't need a fourth. What I do need is a Thunderbolt or FW Anton. Just my measley $.02 I gotta agree, I have more P-51's then I'll ever need. However, a B model would make me take notice.

I'm rather skeptical of the whole thing, no offense to anyone here. I'm sure 21st Century personnel visited this board from time to time themselves. It would be so easy to clear up all the rumor and innuendo if they would just show up and say something once and for instead of letting this issue keep...

The A-4 just begs to be made into 1/18th because of its size and history. You could make repaints for years from it. I know a good start would be to make John McCains Vietnam bird. From there you could go to the Blue Angels, an Israeli A-4, a Falklands Island Version. There are just too many to choo...

If you want a close P-40 Pilot, use the 21st Navy (corsair) one. The flying tigers used a lot of Navy flying gear for their pilots.

The Blue Splinter F-14A Tomcat of the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (NSAWC/TOPGUN) would be cool. These are designed to look like Russian Aircraft. But also, just some generic decals to replace those that were removed along with the spots would be nice as well.

I decided after I cleaned the spots off my Tomcat, that it might be practical to do an entire repaint. I'll either do a TomCat Aggressor scheme or another earlier Tomcat with the white bottom. I'll base my decision on how easy or expensive it it to get new decals for it.

When the P-40 first came out it had peel and stick type markings but the latest one I bought about a year ago had true decals for it.

No room? Then its time to rotate out the stock. Right now I have some of my birds on loan to the local hobby store. Its good advertising for them, and helps me with my space issues.

I slowly wiggled mine until I got the seam where it meets the body to open slightly then placed a thin piece of metal like a butter knife in the gap. Once there I only had to pry it slightly for it to separate from the body.
