Good snag on both those planes, especially at that price. You can't go wrong with the Jolly Rogers. One of the most popular, and rare also.I am sure you will enjoy it! F-16 for $50  I would have gone back everyday, and if that didn't work would have got some friends to grab some for me. 20/20 hin...

Thanks Black Lion VF-213,
That sounds like my solution.if the decal had the aircraft colour as a backing.

Has anybody done this, with the BadCat decals?

And if so,how well does the decal match the aircraft colour?

Thanks for your help guys. :D

It's 1:72.
I have two He 111"s,and one Ju 88,all in 1:72.Big enough to appreciate, and fine models.
As these are "large" planes,I don't believe the 1:72 scale has any bearing on this.It will be a good size.
I am just happy that a manufacturer has chosen to release this aircraft. :D

Hey Lightnng2000,
Thanks for the info!
I just placed a pre order for the Do 17.
Pleasantly surprised that the Dornier is being released.
It will make a great addition to my Battle of Britain collection :D

I would agree that Corgi would be the best candidate to do a Battle of Britain anniversary release. There line is expensive, but really nice, and limited edition.Good weight to it as well.Highly recommended, especially the 1:32 fighters, and 1:72 bombers. I have two Hurricanes, one Spitfire, and one Me 10...

109. No problem putting a swastika on on the plane as it is.I need to place something that will not obscure it. However, the 109 has a grey patch,in place of the swastika. I cannot just put the decal over this.I need to remove the "factory"finish. Is this a decal,or painted? And how do I remove? I do...

Putting swastika's on

How do I put the correct swastika markings on aircraft that already come with a "politically correct" tail marking in its place? I have the decals ready to go,just need some advice on how to get rid of the tail marking that is already there Will a decal solvent get rid of the original markings? Shou...

Very nice flyboy.
These 1:18 do make a terrific base to show your modeling skills, and make a fantastic model from one that is lacking some details, and paint quality.

P-61 "Black Widow"

Anyone else really want a P-61? Really cool plane, with an awesome black "stealth" paint scheme. I built this kit as a kid,and have had a fondness for it ever since. I think that it would be a great model, and if they can release the Henschel, and Bristol Beaufighter etc.,the time for a P-61 is upon us!

What aircraft would you like Century Wings to make?

Century Wings make some fine aircraft.
What are the aircraft that you would like them to do?
My top three would be
1 R/A-5 Vigilante
2 F-111
3 F-100 Super Sabre

Looks Great!
I will take whatever version they release.
If it dwarfs the P-38,it must be BIG.
First hand eyewitness report says it is HUGE.
It is looking more and more like this will become reality.

I have talked to another F-18 collector, who I stay in touch with. Apparently this is the second time that this seller has tried this stunt. Seller just emailed me back. It IS the Golden Dragons! That is clearly false advertising, and fraud.I would be withdrawing my bid,and lodging a formal complaint with Ebay. You are right,Spud. The first picture in the listing clearly shows the RAAF "Checkers".The second head on shot looks to be the Golden Dragons.Good eyes! I just assumed that if the first photo showed the RAAF,that was the one for sale. You have to look quite closely to see that the headon shot appears...
