Re: Where's the pics of the FW190 from Merit?

The sign says everything is for sale, so who bought the Fw190 test pieces? Haha I'd assume from the sign that everything on that side of the table was for sale. That ball thing in the middle.. I can't remember what it's from, but it's 1:18 scale and has a full interior etc. Some space.. thing.. it ...

Article on the M-ATV 'parts' shown at SDCC. I'm personally looking forward to it, even if it's a little big.

Re: COMIC CON 2014

Hoping to see photos of the Harrier all painted up soon. Speaking of photos did anyone take any of the bottom of the aircraft or that of the landing gears extended out? That would be nice to see. I (finally) got my story finished, has photos of the underside/wheels/etc. Also estimated price, releas...

One of our members got a scan of the Target planogram.. pictures here: http://www.fighting118th.com/forum/288894-post171.html It looks like they're bringing back the Mini-Hind as well, and there is an A-10 on the packaging. Nothing other than the figures and some of the accessories look 1:18 scale, ...

Merit posted a picture of the Harrier online, you can see it on our Facebook page as well: https://www.facebook.com/TheFighting118th It looks severely cropped/edited but it's a thing! And they promise it shall be revealed (along with other stuff?) at SDCC 2014. Perhaps it'll go on sale? Limited run?...

Re: 1/18th Scale CH-46 Sea Knight and The HEMTT Gun Truck

Dig that chopper. How did you make that? "Digler" aka one of our forum members made it by splicing together two Chap Mei pseudo-helo's into one bad-ass Sea Knight. I think that was his first custom vehicle that we saw. He's gone on to make a M-ATV, Cougar MRAP, a couple of HEMTT and some other thin...

Yeah, all of his stuff is crazy good. Coming from such unusual starts too.

Wish I had that much space to devote to a full play room!!

He's making me a HEMTT as well, so hopefully it turns out as good!

Custom 1:18 scale HEMTT "Gun Truck"

I thought he (Digler) had posted it here but I didn't see it, so I'll go ahead and post a link. http://www.fighting118th.com/forum/news/7510-news-diglers-devils-custom-hemtt-gun-truck.html He finally (more or less) finished it. Re: Fighting 1:18th Exclusive Figure

Yeah, I believe it's resin.

The aim was to get a soldier that could hold and aim his rifle properly, as so many figures have a very hard time with this. Also, we wanted to be able to get into more realistic poses. Still no laying prone shooting ahead.. but maybe someday :)

Re: This is my M-RAP pack....Ohkosh M-ATV and the Cougar 6x6

This is from Digler (on our forums). We're currently working with him on trying to find ways to get these produced at a more reasonable price. He currently makes these all by hand (which is crazy). Measures out each piece and designs it all himself. I think there are only a few 'casted' pieces, whic...

Re: First Ever 1/18th Scale Convention In PA This Weekend

I don't think we've put the "flame boots" (whatever those are) to Pickel at any point, we've always been appreciative of him sharing his products and designs. And while he is right, we're a generally modern-era focused site, we have sections devoted to WWI-WWII and the Cold War. The problem is there...

Re: merit Announcment

There is no FW-190 at SDCC.. not sure why, the only answer I got was it was being made at a different factory and should be ready well before the AV-8B. The Me-262 and F-86 were on display, and I should hopefully have pics up tomorrow. I don't know WWII schemes so you'll have to enlighten me. Tony @...

Re: merit Announcment

I think an F-5 would be a disappointment to many.

Maybe if it came with a $49.95 pricepoint we could accept it though! But I know I would not pay $129/$149 for one. Though like mentioned above.. if it came in a licensed Top Gun set with a new F-14...
