Just a couple of ideas here. It's impossible for one to expect nothing but positive feed. Negative comments have to have a place as well even if they are not well constructed. The negative should only serve to make a person better at their craft. The few posts PF submitted already pushed me towards ...

This is probably,no definitely the best quality 1:18 dio I have come to witness on this forum. The buildings are amazing, the tractor is great for the effect and the figures are painted very well. I love the amount of detail that was put into this. It made my day. Thanks.

I can't speak for anyone else but I check the forum constantly for new pics of peoples custom work to updates on products and so on. Just knowing that there is a place for such things 1:18 scaled and more gives me peace of mind. I don't care anything about "the industry" or the who's who. (usually j...

Went to TRU today and saw FOV's new lineup. Semi new packaging, new name (assault force) and new merch. No new tigers with zimm yet but it,s just a matter of time. No new WW2 figs yet just the modern but they were a little different including some seals in diving gear(nice) They did have the Sherman...

very nice work, great zimm. The barrel seems warped. It seems like the barrels on a lot of vehicles including the 88 come warped. How can one fix this problem?

I picked up the russian soldiers, the officer and the infantry soldier, after repainting them and equipping them with a ppsh and a mosin nagant, they are ready to defend Stalingrad. I really like the mayan type warrior and the egyptian style warriors. Although they are just a little smaller than 21s...

Fritzkreig, I love your work. your attention to details is exemplary. I had done a nam custom with tiger stripe camo too, but my dog "slinky" got hold of him and turned him into shredded grunt. I also like jerry on horseback. I remember a while back someone was posting pictures of a toy line that ca...

I can see all sides of this discussion. Still, I sure as hell plan on buying a KT and an 88. Maybe only one of each this time around(unlike my usual 4 or 5 of each) but I am impressed by everything I see for the most part. I am a hardcore figure guy so I am always hoping that someone is listening wh...

Parrish, can marauder produce a PPSH russian WW2 machine gun with removable drum clip? How can I get an e-mail to him? I also want to see some WW2 sniper rifles, a springfield with scope, and K-98 or G-43 german rifles with scopes. Water cooled browning 30 cal? WW2 era combat shotgun (trenchgun)?

All of the above,, I really want to see russian troops and a t-34. Kubel, kettingrad, elephant, DAK panzer, or tiger, fallschirmjagers with new articulation, possibly even winter fallschirms, then some brits, red devils or crete brits to go with the tan fallschirms. I also was waiting for a japanese...

I am impressed with the new figures. Gators on the american infantry, finally some accurate pea-dot camo smocks, and new head sculpts. Loved the 30 cal machine gunner and the assault gunner jerry. All in all I am loving these products. Now if we can only get some Stalingrad Russian infantry (male an...

Wow, that's chalkboard scratch to my ears. All I can say is that someday I had better see some Russian figures and a t-34 and some british figures. Desert Rats or Red Devils. Doesn't matter anymore i just want to see them produced well in 1:18. I cannot go as far into movie production without them. ...

battle worn
Weathering on any figure is pretty easy to achieve. I too have been hoping for flat non-glossy figs. I have had to go back and dry brush all of my figures (some 200 plus) just to make them look believable for the movie. It is really lame to see the light reflect off of their clothes in the camera. I...

Congrats, Phil and D. You guys went all out on your set. It had lots of depth. I loved the way you guys finessed the foxhole. We need to implement it into the full length movie. figure painting
Hello there, First off your paint jobs are top shelf. My question is about the paint you use on figures. They look amazing and they don't pick up the shine from lighting. If you haven't seen the animation on page 5 of this thread, I have been working on animations now for a while but I would like my...

First off, i want to thank you all for your comments. I had really no idea how people would recieve this short animation. This project has taken me a good 5 years. First off, thank to everyone for the compliments. This line of toys has inspired me. I love the realism of it. Anyhow, to answer a question that was asked. The winter hanomag was painted with oil based model paints. Ibasically layerd white and gray until it looked corroded. Then I took a rust pigmen...
