Re: Post Monkey Depot Deals Here
Thought I would bump this as a reminder of the famous "Monkey Feeding Frenzy" of aught nine.

Re: XD Found!
Thanks for the heads up Tristan. I have tried to stay current but $200 for new 1/18 and $70 for 1/32 doesn't make me want to shell out the cash. Between other hobbies and the huge piles of stuff I have in storage I can't justified the spends. I know, I was spoiled with cheap prices and helped cause ...

XD Found!
I haven't posted here in years but last week I took a trip to memory lane. I went to a swap meet where I look for antiques and old woodworking tools and my jaw dropped when I found a Flying Tigers P-40 NIB. It must have changed hands a few times as the box is a little beat up but I was able to buy i...

WOW is all I have to say. It isn't very detailed but for $200 you can't knock it. Just imagine if our better customizers here spent a few hundred man hours on it! It reminds me of that custom 1/18 Lancaster that English guy did. I know I am way off topic for the 1/32 forum and this post but with NOT...

Last week I dropped my AT 262 while hanging and the wing partially popped out. I had glued in the screwport covers and could not get the damn things out so I had to pop the tabs in with a little elbow grease. She will never be 100% but hey, most of my models show some wear and tear from moving them ...

no, i already have a halfway decent 1/18 B-17 from an r/c kit. So i wouldn't have gotten a 1/32 one. Would have loved to have seen it though.. :) And i suspect it would have been close to $100, because while not a lot larger than an xd fighter, it would have been a lot more complex. You and your co...

I agree with parish here; it is easy to second guess but we really don't know the reality of 21C's business. I think WM was both a blessing and a curse to the company. Without the contract they would not have survived but ultimately brought their failure. We can talk about them dictating terms to WM...

After a long wait I now have a room designated as a "manclave" and have moved all my historical replicas into the HRR (Historical Replica Repository). Not surprisingly my wife is awfully unhappy with the large amount of boxes and models I have accumulated through the years and begrudges me every min...

AWESOME!! I am really glad to see Admiral Toys tackling this plane! It was such an important Allied fighter that it is surprising it was not made yet. The plane will be large, but not too large. Just a little larger than the XD P-38. Are the pictures on the CollectorsAccess forum a full scale proto...

K-Marche find
I loathe K-Mart and only desperation drove me to stop by at one yesterday. Gorged on MD and with nothing new at WM, TRU and Target where else do you go? Anyway, I found an old metal hull Paladin there. Haven't seen one in ages and only have one which is on display so I decided to get it. Best thing ...

I would buy one for sure and perhaps a second. Due to cost and size no. 2 would be a tough one to justify. Does this thing have a firm release date? Has anyone even seen a mock up? I hate to be the naysayer but just because a company announces a planned piece and some e-tailers have a note up on the...
