Re: Bm 13 katyusha
Just a thought but would anyone want a Japanese tank? They are relatively small and 21st century made WWII Pacific Marines and Japanese figures. Might be something different and not quite as expensive as the larger vehicles. Bob

Yeah, me too. I thought it was my old outdated computer. not being up to speed or something. The data base is really useful, hate to loose it.

Re: New Mods - 21c M-113 Customized to a Vietnam War M-113 A
I made mine a very long time ago so the items may not be available. I used strip styrene by Evergreen Scale models #293 for the engineering stakes [ angle iron ] from a hobby shop and Adfors Fiba Tape by Saint-Gobain from Home Depot for the rolled up fencing. Like I said, a long time ago. Good luck....

Re: McFarlane Toys "The Hatch" from Lost...
Normandy: My bunker is right out of the box. I kept the wrap around back drop. I just have the 21st Century Japanese officer laying face down on top with his pistol and sword in hand. Three Pacific Marines standing around it. This really didn't need much in the way of additional vegetation but now t...

Re: McFarlane Toys "The Hatch" from Lost...
I bought several when they came out. I made one into a captured Japanese bunker with the officer laying on top with his sword out and 3 of the Pacific Marines standing around. The wrap around backdrop adds a lot. Bob

Very nice, a lot of work went into all of that. I really like the boats. Facebook has thousands of dioramas and tutorials to check out. Hope to see more of this from you. Bob

Re: I Counted My 1/18 Figures
I'm really OCD so I have lists of all the figures and vehicles and whether they are opened or not. This is military, Star Wars, Indiana Jones etc. I know what I have but not necessarily where it is. Kinda got outa hand but fun.

I'm here, being retired I stop in a couple of times a day while making my "internet " rounds. I have all the aircraft but really only do armor. I've bought from Pickel, Grunt and Aracula for the add ons etc. I personally only do 1/18 but the only 1/18 site on Facebook is Tristan's. There are over 50...

Re: Bookcase display base for 1:18
For anyone who has an A.C.Moore craft store near them they have very serviceable grass mats in the fake flower section. They also have large and small plastic diorama bases near the model car/paint section. I turn the bases upside down so I have a "baking pan" and I can fill it with styrofoam to mak...

A couple of months ago the seller from China who seemed to be the only one on eBay to have these in any quantity put them on deep discount. They were on for several years at the original price. I just looked and can't find any.

if I may just add a reason why all the knocked out tigers had no mg. When the crew or survivors left the tank they would take it with them for offense/defense. easily removed and a lot of fire power. Just a thought. Bob
