The demise of 1/32 vehicles

We've been quite spoiled over the last couple years. It wasn't too long ago the only 1/32 vehicles were New Ray and if you wanted to spend a lot Britains or Frontline. Even though 21st might be history at least FOV and Bravo Team are keeping the 1/32 fire burning.... Let's not forget what BBI has br...

I've always loved trains but I go now because I always find something for my 1/32 military. I've purchased 1/32 Hueys, the K-Line vehicles, BBI Dauntless, buildings, trees, etc. It's hit or miss.... The last show I attended I picked up an Orthodox style church, G scale, which will look great in an E...

They are, but if you find the right dealer you can get a bargain. If you're really patient, unlike K&C, you can really clean up.....
Both Britains and Old NWTS look great together. They complement each other as does Conte WWII.

2009 Britains WWII

I spoke to the owner of the shop where I purchase some of my Britains and he said Britains is returning this year with 6 WWII figures apparently sold separately. It's been brutal waitng over a year for WWII figures from Britains. I look forward to seeing the 2009 catalogue. Old NWTS is also supposed...

Thanks for the suggestions. I believe I already have most of the offerings from Hobby Bunker. I did purchase their unpainted versions. I enjoy painting. I also have all the Conte structures. The MBA stuff looks good. I keep looking for buildings that don't cost an arm and a leg...... Buildarama is q...

I went to a couple of Walmarts and finally found something. I found DAK figures for $3 a 3 pak, along with Chinese infantry. I left the German mortar squad. I also picked up the Monte Cassino set for $15. I like the Sherman.
I'm contemplating trying to covert the Chinese into NVA....

Ostketten:
You shold check out your local hobby shop that has HO trains. I'll bet you they'll have different street surfaces that will be a lot closer in scale than the cobblestone streets from Lemax.
I wish they offered these pieces in 1/32......

In my area I find inexpensive models at flea markets and even military shows. Twice a year there's a toy and plastic model kit show where I can buy 1/32 models from as low as $5. It's hit or miss but I always find something that is far less than what they're going for at hobby shops.

K-Line 1/32 Abrams and Patriot missile trucks

K-Line makes model railroad products. I think their product is geared for O gauge. After or during Operation Desert Storm K-Line introduced a lot of trains in desert camo. They also came out with a 1/32 Abrams and a Patriot vehicle to ride on their train cars. (The vehicles were reaslly out of scale...

In my area all the 1/32 was reduced. Last 1/32 vehicle I saw was $6.48. I picked it up. I'm pretty sure Target will not be carrying Action grade.. There's still T-R-U, but my last check didn't wow me. There's also Kmart and Meijers....

I guess I just prefer the gray. Can't explain it. I have to say the Dragon Tiger colors are great and the overall paint jobs are excellent. Granted, they're alot more expensive too.... The FOV Tigers have better paint jobs too. If I have to give a reason for the gray, the gray, to me, looks more aut...

I've been hitting all the local Targets and cleaning up on the FOV 1/32 clearance stuff. I also stopped for the heck of it at a T-R-U. Quite disappointing. You'll remember when the stores had an entire aisle for 'military' toys. Now the aisle has been invaded by Transformers, Star Wars and Indiana J...

I went to a couple Targets yesterday and today. Picked up a Sturmgeschiitz III Ausf. G for $6.48. I also picked up two 82nd Airborne 93008 and a British 7th Armored Division for $2.48 a piece.... The figures from the tank alone were worth the $6.48. I'll now customize the tank because the Action gra...

The Bravo Team box shows the P51,1/32, and the 1/48 choppers. They also show one German aircraft, I think an ME109. Target never carried the FOV ME109 even though it was on the back of the FOV box which showed the P51, the Spitfire, etc. German aircraft would be welcome at Target....

When I purchased my Stryker, I asked an associate to see "if there were more in the back." I was shocked when he said he would check. Usually you get the response, "what we have is on the shelf." When the box came out, it was filled with 6 vehicles. There was only one Stryker of the 6.
