And just like that I'm shutting off orders. We hit the magic number and then some. Once I have the first block complete I'll see if anyone is still interested. I'll begin working exclusively on the A4 starting in December.
Thanks YT, I understand it's not for everyone.

Re: 1/18 A4E Skyhawk 2019
Ok guys, most of you know I have been working on a 1/18 A4E Skyhawk. Hoped I would have been further along than what I am, but with work and other projects it has been shoved to the side for far too long. Another contributing factor would be the failed ME163 Komet I produced a couple years ago. I fe...

Re: 1/18 Me163B-1
Looking great. How are the instructions? I tried to clearly document the processes in my head. Which is difficult on a good day. I've had a couple requests for kits. Once I have the A4 to the stage where I need to order laminating resin for fiberglass molds, I'll have what I need to make a couple mo...

Re: 1/18 A4E Skyhawk 2019
A-4 looks great. That Battlestar is cool! how big is it? I promised my son we would get our 3-D printer set up again soon. Thanks, The BSG is going to be 21" long. I finally got everything printed. It's not perfect but cool. If I had a bigger printer I would have done it 36" long. Let me know if yo...

Re: 1/18 A4E Skyhawk 2019
I think I have finished the overall shape. What's your thoughts? Canopy area will be finalize after I have the molds done. With the little time I've had I completed the gun ports and bulge under the nose. Next step is panel lines. Then on to molds. I hope 2020 in a more productive year than the last...

Re: How does your collection grow?
I am strictly an aircraft guy. Most of my collection was made during the 21st Century hay days. I'm still kicking myself for passing up on the 12 Spitfires sitting on the Walmart clearance aisle. If we only knew where the hobby was going to be in ten years. My focus for new aircraft is scratch build...

Re: 1/18 A4E Skyhawk 2019
I don't want anyone to think the project is dead. Typical with our hobby life and work gets in the way. I haven't figured out how to win the lottery. I've been working on it here and there, but not enough to post consistent updates. Also with a project like this you have to be thinking five steps do...

Re: What Is the Most Wanted Aircraft Project ?
I did the ME163 about a year ago with mild success. If there was enough interest I could bring her out retirement. I think the cost and complexity scared people off. https://live.staticflickr.com/852/43683639501_cf28b34747_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/852/43636929812_78c57ee2a3_c.jpg https://...

Re: so many talented guys with projects
I try to pick projects that I am passionate about and others might have an interest in. Typically I will scan the message boards before looking at a project and see if someone is already doing it. If it's being done, I'll Bookmark the page and move on. Same as Aracula, What fun is it doing a one off...

Great site. Very clean and easy to navigate.
Who did use to host the site? I was looking at WIX. I despise selling things on Ebay, but it's the only way to reach the masses.

Re: 1/18 A4E Skyhawk 2019
The price point I am shooting for would be below $300 or even lower. My plan is to keep it simple. No moving parts other than maybe the canopy. Plug N Play wheels like the 1/32 F4. I would like to stay with the fiberglass wings and fuselage. Do enough that it looks nice, but allows the builder to do...

Re: 1/18 A4E Skyhawk 2019
Snuck in a little work on the A4 over the weekend. Don't like cold rainy days in spring, but is a perfect excuse to sit in the shop. I was able to get the canopy cut out, wings fitted and dorsal fin attached. Still need to work on the windscreen. It shattered when I was trying to cut it loose. The S...

Steve, "Would the head on the AN / AAQ-14 be moveable and rotate like the Black Knight version ??" Yes, It's the same pod as the JSI Black Knights. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7882/32200570627_954faed157_b.jpg How's the AIM-120 looking?
