The laser samples I received look great, but the cost to produce one F14 stand was $13ea after shippi...

I would like to keep the costs down to keep them affordable. I just finished cutting 15 F14 stands by hand and I have to say it was a time consuming. ...

I just started. I have a basic version and a deluxe one. The LED version runs for about 30 hours. Runs off 2xAA batteries with an inclosed battery case with on/off switch. I also have the F18 stand done. http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/4724/img7181.th.jpg http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/9035/i...

My solution to the broken landing gear issue. One of mine was broke out of the box. A spring and pin was missing. Crazy how that would happen. I made one stand basic and one deluxe. http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/2665/img7187p.th.jpg http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/8519/img7183t.th.jpg http://i...

If he is then I will get one made for it as well. If not I would need to find a board member that would be kind enou...

This is a new stand I am working on. My goal is to develop a stand that will work with the F18, F14, F15 and future aircraft. With all the different gear and armament configurations I think this might be a solution. Right now I am testing the durability of three different types of glue. I am also wo...

Yes I am. I put the project on hold while my wife and I were building a house. After the new house was finished our old house was hit by a flood, so I spent about 8 months fixing that up. My family owns a restaurant chain and that has taken off in the last year. We are between restaurants, so I thou...

Acrylic 1:18 Display stand
Well it's been three years, a new house, and a flood since I visited this post. I am eager to re-visit this project. The stands have three years of testing and so far so good. I dabbled with having the stands laser cut, but the edges would crack. So I will stick with cutting them myself. I had some ...
