Wow! You are the man dude!! I love the Tri-Motor (have one built in 1/77 scale) and would love to take the plunge, but ... 500 smackers?

Looks good! Let me know if you ever need someone to baby sit it for you.

Re: Merit 1/16 Tanks

...... Had Yoxford not pointed this out , I was apprehensive in buying one. I've just changed my mind. Thanks Yoxford. 8) - MG Good gawd!!! I'd rather have a T34 with inoperative hatches than go without one. Back in the day when the WSN was plentiful I bought a few and put Tamiya RC...

Re: 1/16 tanks

The Panther and Jagdpanther are cool but the lower glacial plate on both is wrong, its angle is off to make room for RC gear maybe I've heard that this problem with the HL's are 'correctable' and the modeler who claimed that said he was puzzled as to why it was done in the first place for they didn...

Re: Merit 1/16 Tanks

do wish the hatches opened and it had zimmerit applied Don't know how far you want to go but there is zimm available http://www.artistichobbies.com/proddetail.php?prod=ATA1603 for Tiger I tanks. It says it's for the Tamiya tank so there may be some adjustments to be made but far better than having ...

Re: Merit 1/16 Tanks

I'd like to see a variety in the finishes you can choose from. I always liked the winter white T34 but you can hardly find it now. Sure I could paint one, but probably not as nice as the factory finish. Just a thought. I'd buy a white T34 now if it was available. Maybe the same for the Tig...

Re: 1/16 tanks

Just a fantasy tank. I do not believe any prototypes were made ... kinda like the E-50 and E-75.

Actually to be correct it needs the 128MM gun instead of that 88MM. (according to the drawings)

Re: 1/16 tanks

Yes, they're still in business (just released the A1 kit) and for what you get they are not too pricey at all for a resin kit.

I have 3 ready for some HL donors to come along.

Re: 1/16 tanks

He does this as a hobby ... not his only income because I do believe he has a full-time job. I have purchased many things from Phil over the past few years and he has always come through, never let a customer down, and stands behind what he sells as he checks tanks before they are sent out the door....

Re: 1/16 tanks

Ummm, that is an SU-100 instead of a SU-85. Could be determined as a SU-85M but the superstructure is a SU-100.

Re: 1/16 tanks

I just asked Stevens International about this kit and they replied that a release date hasn't been announced yet. But that doesn't mean Trumpeter isn't working on it. Two years ago my email was answered "be patient" ... I guess by that reply they have been hounded about it. Guess I won't get it for ...

That's why the customer is always considered "The King".

Also, sellers must realize there is a certain amount of sweat equity that goes into almost every transaction too.

Re: Shipping help!!!

That's just a case of the hard knocks ... for him. Once you place a shipping quote in an auction you must live by it. No matter what. It's one of the reasons why it sold because of the lower shipping quote. I'm sure the final selling price would have been lower had he advertised $45.00 shipping. The...

Re: Dragon 1/6 tank

Thanks for the report!

With my '98 Blazer costing me $700.00 one week and then another $135.00 the next, I might as well sell it while it's running and get this tank!

Hello public transportation?

Re: Dragon 1/6 tank

......... word on the street say this is a very late war Sherman that saw little if any real combat in the ETO . * Speculation is early '45 PTO through Korea . One might want to do a little research on this model first before throwin' down on one. - MG Well the word is incorrect. This is a high bus...

$300.00 DOES seem a bit low for a kit like this and being metal too.

Re: Dragon 1/6 tank

Don't know as I have never built one for another tanker. Came close but could never get a commitment. Going by my speed (and I never back away from detailing) it might take longer than most but I'm sure I could build it straight from the box without adding additional work. I have built several Tamiy...
