Thanks for the comments DocTodd.

I know it may be wishful thinking Hworth, but I think things like that could be done. Sooner or later I hope something like that is done.

I would gladly pay a couple hundred dollars for an A-10 as I'm sure many here would pay just as much for other aircraft that they treasure. I think offering FAN CLUB MEMBERS things that hold to their interests should be looked at seriously. I'm sure that they get enough inquiries and monitor this bo...

Maybe if we put enough effort into requesting that it be completed. I know what you are all thinking, uhmm, ZERO. 21st could offer the A-10 as a Members Exclusive on Area 21. Maybe we could talk to our resident Area 21 president about this. I know the Zero is a big must have, but at least there is a...

Oh, don't worry Aferg. I e-mailed the bozo back last night after I received that e-mail asking them in very specific terms about the Elite Force Line and 1/18 scale products in general. I haven't heard back from them yet but as soon as I do I will post it. I will keep bagering them and bagering them...

Then what does that mean for the fate of the 1/18 scale line of products BBI has been producing? I wonder if they are shifting to a new market after all? This really bites.

Aferg,

When and if they do appear (hopefully very soon) just give me the word and I'll grab one for you.

Oh, has anyone checked with Bad Cat or Dirk to see if they have any knowledge of the A-10 and if they are going to be able to secure some for retail?

Dosen't matter to me whether Target, WM, or TRU carries it. As long as it is out there. I'll purchase it online (not e-bay) more than likely if it becomes available there. Heck, I'll find it where ever it may be. My work requires me to travel from upstate NY to south Texas and all in between. I can'...

I hope not. If the production costs are as astonomical as told to be, it would be to their advantage to make it as available as possible through other selling outlets. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'll bet they sold the majority of their F-18's and F-16's through online retail outlets rather than br...

Ha ha...Aferg. This is no false report as far as I'm concerned. The e-mail came straight from BBI as you can see. I hope that they aren't feeding false information to their customers. I take this very seriously (the A-10 is a serious 1/18 scale subject to me) and don't want to mislead anyone here. I...

I have been sending e-mails to BBI through their customer relations e-mail on a regular basis. I sent an e-mail to them yesterday and the response I got back amazed me. I wish that I knew how to copy or post the e-mail here so that you could see the actual e-mail. Anyway here it goes....I enquired a...

My wife and I saw Sahara Friday night. The helicopter in the movie is a Huey but with different armament than the 21st version. The one in the movie has miniguns in addition to rockets. Paint scheme is the same though. The M113 and what I believe is the M48 (or maybe a M60) is in the movie. Both pla...

I agree with pushing for an A-10 Warthog. Reading the posts here, it seems to be an aircraft that many agree on wanting. I hope BBI is listening.

Ask about a 1/18 A-10 Warthog? Since they have a prototype, ask if there are any plans on releasing it as a members club exclusive.

I hope and pray that BBI is looking at producing an A-10 since 21st believes it is to big and the production costs are too great. What's with the fear of packaging? They don't seem to have a problem with creating a box big enough to fit a 1/6 scale tank in and putting it out for sale. So how could i...

That is pretty large but I definitley would buy a couple if they'll put one out. Let's hope they'll consider producing some for special orders or something!!!

Thanks for the info and once again I'm glad to be aboard!!

Hi I found and joined this board last week and I've been catching up by reading all the forums to see what has been going on. This is the most impressive place and group of people I have ever seen! It's great to see so many enthusiastic collectors of 1/18 scale. Ya'll rock!! I've been looking for a ...
