I'm wondering if the 21st Century "almost B-17" is similar to the "almost stealth jet" the Nazi's 'almost' built. Both designed to save their respective makers but never got off the board.

Mine has lots of FoV. Just sold out MLRS' and M-109s, still have M-3 (Grants) and M-5s.

I collected 1/72 planes back in the 60s when you had to build them yourself. My real interest was armor anyway and when Tamiya began producing heavily I really got into the 1/35.... for a while. I quit when my hand-eye(sight) coordination began to get blurred out (cataracts) making model making diff...
