at first that price for the rides does seem steep, but consider it costs $8500 an hour to fly the b-29. hey, if you can do it you can do it, and congrats to those that can! don't know if anyone saw though but R. Lee Ermey will be there from Mail Call doing a special, along with a Lancaster bomber an...

The biggest give away I saw was the lack of the main landing gear in the foward part of the fuselage. In the Wildcat, the wheels are visible. The gear on the Hellcat actually retract into the wings.

hope that helps somewhat!!

Look again, that's not a wildcat. it's a hellcat....the noticably missing front landing gear, cowling front, and slight angled up wings give it away. i'm pretty sure about it. and...i'm quite happy as well!!

I'm pretty sure you are talking about PSP, or pierced steel planking... (i think that's what it stood for...)

Some model companies make it for 1/48 and 1/72 scales i think. check squadron.com and type in PSP, see what comes up.

I believe those videos are by Lee Lauderback, a well known P-51 pilot. I think he co-owns Stallion 51 down in FL, where new pilots can get checked out in a mustang. Very cool videos. My absolute favorite is the National Anthem. So cool....it gives me shivers ever time i watch it!

The Army and the Marines both issued camo to their men in WW2 in the same pattern. The marines I beleive were the first to get it, and it was made reversable. The outside was green camo, and the other side was tan camo. The idea was to have the tan camo on when they stormed the beaches, then change ...

I've seen a few of the 85029 at some local targets. so...are they being recalled, only a few produced, being produced in addition to these? just curious. and i'm 95% sure, because they had the night fighter hurricane and a green camo, and i know that there was no yellow on the front of the wings lik...

wow, that's very surprising to me. i just can't see it coming before all the other planes, mainly US, British, German and Japanese even. When they talk about selling points, I just don't see it in something like the Macchi, or the IL2. Guess we'll never know what's going on in their minds.......

while i agree that they are significant, i doubt you would see them made, maybe the il-2, but not from what the toymakers are saying. if you read anything that either roy, 21st century toys, or mike (?) from bbi says, it's got to have marketability. i think theres a long list that would be made befo...

While this is good news, my biggest questions is actually WHEN will we be seeing them?? I'm tired of getting excited about things until there is some confirmation (which even then sometimes doesn't help). For all we know it might be another 1-2 years before we see them!!

Wow. Kudos to BadCat. You just set yourself apart from the rest with that move. It's nice to see people not worried about themselves all the time, especially any buisness or the like. Very respectable and thoughtful.
I will have to order now!

That is a surprise. Did anyone see the P-51 'special feature'? check 21st site, detailed working gun bay doors. pretty cool. apparently they are individually molded peices not one big molding in the wing, which will definitley make them look nicer.

Definitley a surprise, that came out of no where. Here's some pics of a real corsair painted up just like this one, I believe it's owned by Tom Duffy from PA. If I'm not mistaken also, this is a BlackSheep Sqaudron plane, so this will go nicely with 21st Century's Pappy's plane. Anyways...here you g...
