The Naval Aviation Museum is one of my favorite places to visit. BuNo 2016 was on view the last time I was there. Interesting parallel (probably unintentional) that the Atlantic Avenger also was from the Block Island (CVE-21) and this Corsair from the Block Island (CVE-106) in the Pacific. CVE-21 was sunk by a sub in the Atlantic. Interesting story:
