Re: KING Tiger
I'm not quite sure what you mean, but the only KT model that's been identified as being manufactured 1945 is this offering from Hobby Master in 1/48 scale.

Long-Simmering Questions for 21st Century Toys
Over the years I've pondered over and over a few questions that I'd like 21st Century to answer. Here is my list... 1. What are those three white squares with the black dot in each on the Series 1 32X Panther (# 413)? 2. Why is the 32X King Tiger series the only one to show battle/usage damage? Sect...

Re: 1/72 Pz IV
Another detail that distinquishes the "J" from the "H" is the omission on the "J" of the small muffler to the left (as you face the rear of the vehicle) of the main engine muffler. This muffler was for the small engine that traversed the turret. Pz IV J's apparently had manual traverse. This omissio...

The gun on the Marder will back out completely from its cradle, but then it will stick on the muzzle brake. At this point if you turn the gun 90 degrees and apply steady pressure pulling the gun toward the back of the vehicle keeping the muzzle brake at the bottom of the opening in the gun shield wh...

Well, just to expand on my previous message... The Cary, NC TRU had a Marder and two Pz 38(t)s. I picked up the Marder and left the others. The cannon on the Marder can easily be slid forward or even removed from its cradle, but it is slightly two wide to clear the gun shield and, without modificati...

The M-17 Quad 50 cal. trailer and the Vietnam figures showed up at the Cary, NC TRU yesterday. I'm not into this weapons system or Vietnam, so I left them on the shelves. We've only got one TRU in my immediate AO, but, so far, sooner or later, we always get the latest 21st Century offerings. I'm rea...

I found the 1:6 scale MG-34 Weapons Set recently showcased on the 21st Century site at the New Hope Church Rd WalMart in Raleigh, NC. They had about 8 of them. I don't usually collect this scale, but this set was too interesting to pass up. There wasn't much else there from 21st Century, a few 32X p...

The Cary, NC TRU hadn't added any new 21st Century products, but several of the 32X DAK and Italian troops had been purchased as well as one of the four olive drab 32X Fireflys and both 32X Bullfrog P-51s. They still have 3 of the 32X Me-262s, some 1/48 scale PIVs w/the short 75mm, and some of the 1...

I guess that some of you are suggesting that unless I know exactly what they've entered into the computer as search criteria, I'm wasting my time in calling. 'Called my local TRU in Cary, NC yesterday asking if they had any XD. The young lady said that she'd check and was gone for 10 minutes. She came back and said that they didn't. Two hours later, I'm going home and, what the heck, that TRU is basically on the way, so I stop. I immediately spot the XD ...

Lightening: What's up w/Hobby Master King Tiger sPzAbt 503?
Lightening, I noticed that this model just arrived on your site, but is immediately on back order. I've seen that occur on at least one other site. Is it just popular and your orders matched or exceeded your allotment?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: 21st Century KT w/"Porsche" Turret
As often happens, my memory failed me. Here is the quote from my source, Kingtiger Heavy Tank 1942-45, New Vanguard Series, Osprey Publishing, 1993. " Starting in July 1944, hangers and fasteners to mount replacement double track links were welded fore and aft on both turrent sides. In Novmber 1944,...
