you need to get in on this list, right here, right now, and no where else! Did i post what you quoted here on this website? I double checked, but i wasn't sure. I posted that on our front page as a way to snag attention. It's just a marketing ploy. ha. I put out an open call for everyone here to pa...

No, let's not do that. While the guy's work is funny, he's not really doing anything wrong. Not enough to warrant messing with his auctions anyway. He's probably not lying about his work getting published in FSM, considering even 10 year-olds can have pictures of their models published in the reader...

They could have easily ordered more F-16 and F-18 planes for example. They would have sold out and helped drive new people or interest into this hobby as well as allowed collectors to get a hold of more for themselves. From a business stand point, I don't see the point of doing that. They ponied up...

This blog is interesting in it's own right as BadCat has in some way enabled the demise of 1:18 over time by not reserving more exclusives and overpricing them during the last 3 years now, driving collectors (both new and old) away. Huh. That's an odd way of looking at it. So you were expecting Bad...

oh, and i don't think the car analogy is moot. If there were only Honda accords in the world, you could still shop around, from dealer to dealer, for the best price.....just like many are doing with the JSI F-14....shopping around from dealer to dealer. It would be a better comparison if Honda is t...

these planes are products just like any other and thus sales, discounting etc are going to happen. With some of the reasoning i've been reading it's like walking into a car dealership and paying full price without negotiating, just so you can support the dealership. Ok, you do that....i'm going to ...

The last time I checked, JSI isn't doing direct sales. And those dealers buying these toys from JSI are the only way we can get them. So support your dealers. The days of Walmarts are over. Don't begrudge our remaining online dealers the profit they deserve. I mean no disrespect but this line of re...

I want to support JSI,and not a particular dealer. The last time I checked, JSI isn't doing direct sales. And those dealers buying these toys from JSI are the only reason we can get them here. You guys complain about the shipping prices? Just imagine how much the shipping will be if you have to buy...

To be honest, I'm just freaking happy a good-looking F-14 Tomcat is going to come out in 1/18th scale. Plus there's plans for an F-15 and an SU-27 in the future. Arguing or debating over $30-$50 difference is chump change compared to what we faced a couple of months ago...the possibility of the 1/18...

Basically. It wasn't unusual to see different soldiers in the same unit wearing different camo.12pzd.hj wrote:So, they just wore what they think was best on that moment?GooglyDoogly wrote:They wore all kinds of camo. Basically, if it was issued to German units, they most likely have worn it at one point or another.

Here's a little mystery. Scroll down to the "Carson 1/24 RC tanks" pics. It's a pic of an RC King Tiger, Tiger I and a Sherman.

New company? Or simply mislabeled FOV or VS tanks? Because that Late Tiger looks like a VS tank.

Geez, an MLRS? What an odd choice. They should have made a Challenger II. But oh wells. I can't wait to see these tanks. I already have the VS Late Tiger I, so I hope FOV would be able to surpass the quality of that model, which is already a great model. Don't worry about people who are offended abo...

Re: I got board
Well, actually, I got several. I've been meaning to build myself some sort of diorama base, and I finally bought the lumber and began construction. It's 24" X 60", 5mm plywood on a frame of 1" x 2"'s. There are two supports under the middle of the board. I didn't bother getting precise with the pla...

Aviator Nut, When you held the Tomcat did you take notice at the dihedral on the vertical stabilizers? From every picture I see of this plane it appears the vertical stabs are perfectly parallel to one another like the F-15 Eagle. The Tomcat has roughly 3-5 degrees of outward cant on its tails. Has...
