Between those and the old Aurora "Prehistoric Scenes" models that is  I managed to get all of them fairly cheap; they are double what I pai...

Those are neat as hell but.....(There's always a BIG butt..lol)..1/6? I'm thinking that a 1/6 P-51 would be goin' on 5FT long. 1/10th? I'm thinking 1/9th sense they did release a 1/9th r/c M1 abrams I'd totally forgotten about those (I remember seeing them in the "clearance" aisle at Wallyworld 5-6...

Re: Jnewboy Customs ~ 1/18 Panther IR "Vampyr"

Wow, just TOO cool man! 8) Back in the early 80's I started my Army career as a '19E (On the old M60 series) and I remember being "amazed" that the Germans had some "decent" night- capability on some of their tanks almost 4 decades earlier (!) Granted, it wasn't TIS/TTS but heck....beat the hell out...

Re: WHAT IS YOUR MAIN AREA OF INTEREST WITHIN THIS HOBBY?

I'm about 60/40 Aircraft/Armor.

I started out with 1/18 scale but I'm shifting to 1/32 for aircraft to save room.
(I also build 1/48 and 1/32 1/35 kits of both).

There is nothing wrong with super detailing , but I tell you. I am of the school if you can't see it , why do it ? Some of these guys will spend years working on something that will never be seen. When asked why they say " because I know it is there " But detailing is detailing and it looks ...

Boy, do I ever want one of those! I just scored an old Monogram "White-Box" 1/48 "G" (That I built about 20 of in the 70's) and the nose was always my favorite part of the build (You couldn't see much of the other areas when the model was done). In 1/18 scale....very neat. I'm not too crazy about th...

That IS pretty neat.

I found a guy close to home here who has the 1/72
Revell Gato kit for about 1/2 the going price that I'm going
to pick up tomorrow or Tuesday and that Skipjack would
go pretty nice with it (As well as the Revell Type VIIC) :D
