These figures were available with JSI's initial outlay of product. There seemed to be very little interest from the collecting community for them at that time as well. :)

SmallJoes pushed the release date to August. I only pushed the release date up because the last date I was given has come and gone. They company hasn't communicated with me at all regarding the status of the bird. For several weeks now, I suspected it was the case that things were not progressing. ...

Re: Paint Damaged By Sun Glare

Funny you mention this, because I just discovered that my BBI F-16 has suffered this face. It was sitting near a blinds-closed window for about two years. Unfortunately, enough sunlight managed to creep through during a certain time of the day to yellow one side of the forward fuselage. Sucks!!! Can...

Had they come out with it, sure shipping would have been a bitch(considering the heavy plastic they used on their Hornet, which BTW, is incredibly durable) Not really. For items of this size, you are usually paying based on volume as opposed to actual weight anyway. A heavier plastic might have inc...

Welcome to the wonderful world of Merit Int. I doubt JSI is directly involved with this I also had that suspicion. It is probably time for some retailers to contact JSI directly and explain the reality of the situation should they wish to continue marketing product in the U.S. I for one would be ha...

It will be interesting to see how many buyers thumb their noses right back at future JSI and Merit offerings.. I already dropped plans for about $5,000 in purchases from Merit two months ago simply due to their consistently poor treatment of retailers. At this time I also have no plans to support f...

Interesting stuff. I don't know that all Chinese vendors behave in this manner though. I have good luck dealing directly with BBI in the past, and also some other distributors that are Chinese owned or involved. However, Merit is and has always been on a plane of chicanery all their own. In years pa...

With most automated postage mailing systems you can generate a label and get a tracking number, doesn't mean the package ever actually got submitted to the post office. In fact, as long as it doesn't, the label can be voided and the postage refunded. That makes some sense ... so is it possible then...

That said, typically when company goes under or is sold the assets / debts become the property of the new company. That is not my experience. A corporate disollution and bankruptcy proceeding would generally protect the principals from any further liability unless they were engaging in illegal acti...

I know that All-Go would rather build up a totally new plane (and they plan to). as opposed to launching another P-51D but it's what has to be done. The strategy is not so unfamiliar. Look at JSI- they had to (steal) 21C tooling to produce the following: Corsair, Stuka, P-38, & Panther all before t...

Same as I said above...tell the seller that you want to exchange your broken/incomplete F-14 with a new one. ...while keeping in mind that this is a permanent bridge-burn with most any retailer, especially if you have agreed to up front stated terms about returns then try to go this route after the...

I think you're right, lack of etailer support is what killed the 1/32 F-104 IIRC. Don't blame it on the "etailers". Consumers were not supporting the BBI 1:32 scale items very well in the beginning, because a) they cost more than the equivalent 1:32 scale stuff from 21st, and b) the usual waiting g...

Steve Koch is a pathetic douchbag that causes problems on all of the GI JOE forums as well. He's mentally unstable.
He was also banned from SMALLJOES.COM for exhibiting psychotic behavior toward customer service.

I hate to say it but this was inevitable. Gone are the good old days of absurdly low prices on these huge models but I'm not sure the consumer understands that yet, so BBI and probably Admiral too will sit it out for a year or two and All-Go! will take a stab and producing a smaller production run c...

I'd like to here some of the on-line retailers chime in on these. Will we be seeing this line at Smalljoes or Badcat? We'll be getting them. Have some samples on the way and manufacturer is interested in working with us on it. I was planning on waiting for the samples to commit to an order but you ...
