All the pre-shipping responses to the infamous 'SpotCat' pics by Merit and its shipper...

Just sort of ticks me off when someone sells you on a product and at a price, showing us all these great pics with no disclaimers, representing the highest quality and standards of asembly and painting and then gives you something that is apparently significantly less...at the earlier, premium price...

Emailed my supplier and voiced polite concern at the paint quality exhibited at Merits site and asking for clarification.... Bait and switch is something frowned upon by the law... I would think a rep of someone would step up and confirm or deny the status of this thing. Why let the rumors fly unles...

Honestly, even though I gripe, I am a great fan of these models; my expectations are so high I guess as a direct result of the pre-sale pics and marketing of this thing, combined with the prior letdowns of other products so long awaited for....
