Anyone heard from 1958Zelda lately?

It's been over a year since he has been on the forum as far as I can tell.

Grunt1, you still making this kit? I tried contacting you, and it seems like you responded back, but it says I am not authorized to read your message while it is on "hold"? Never seen that yet on here. I would like to get one of these M3s. Let me know, and thank you Yes, here is the link to the mod...

Re: 1:18 Panzer I project - New video 8-06-2020

Thank you for the positive feedback everyone! Some requested a photo of the tracks installed so here you go. Note that the Panzer I could run with either 87 or 88 links installed. I presume(?) this had to do with ground conditions, speed, traction desired, etc. Anyway, this is with all 88 links. htt...

Re: 1:18 Panzer I project - New video 8-06-2020

These took me a while to get right but I am very happy with the new working snap tracks for the Panzer I. Now that this is out of the way, on to the final version of the hull.

Photos didn't do them justice so here is a video:

Re: 1:18 Panzer I project - New pics 4-19-2020

A short update: I hit a few major stumbling blocks on some of my larger projects like the Panzer I and the Flak 38 that slowed me down. The good news is that the Flak 38 is done and will be released next week so I can now focus my time on finishing up the Panzer I.

1:18 Flak 38 - Fully painted 9-3-2020

Hi guys, It's taken me a while but I was finally able to find time and remaster the original Battleground Flak 38. There is a ton of additional detail, bolts, rivets, hooks, diamond plating, vents and more. The Flak rotates 360 degrees and has about 60 degrees of elevation. The gun magazines fit ont...

Re: Do we really want new WWII figures?

"Perhaps more optional arms and legs molded in various positions like a few offerings did." <- this! I didn't realize how spoiled I was by 21st Century and Dragon fixed arms and legs. Even with Hasbro class articulation from Marauder some poses like aiming down sights on a rifle are near impossible.

Re: 1:18 Panzer I project - New pics 4-19-2020

What material is used for this model? Thank you NSA. It's a challenging project but it's looking good so far. Josef, the majority of the parts are plastic. The main body will either be plastic or a plastic/carbon fiber blend. I'm testing options now to try to balance the right mix of durability, de...

Re: 1:18 Panzer I project

The running gear turned out great. This Panzer I kit is designed to be an easy build. There are square sockets on the back of the running gear pieces that snap and hold (with CA glue) into the square sockets of the tub. Takes about 2 minutes per side. https://i.imgur.com/EzyW0Iyl.jpg https://i.imgur...

That's very cool. How do you make such clean chassis cuts? That's what's always held me back from doing more of this.
