bbi at tru

I was told Wednesday at Times Square TRU that aside from Joes they were done with 1:18 military. That said those guys have been very wrong before, so it may make it to tru. I wouldn't be surprised if none of the red box stuff makes it there (M4, Defender, USMCSH, F-16), but I hope it does. Something...

Cool

Thanks for the update....and I told you to give them more credit on the USMC figs - they had the card backs at Toy Fair.

Amazon

You can order it amazon.com Sadly they sell bbi figures for $8 plus tax & shipping which pretty much means a ten dollar figure. Absolute BS. I will not forgive bbi for the distribution of these figures. There is really only one place to get them as tru's cannot be relied upon - and that one place ch...

M4

Actually the paint job is fantastic for a production piece. It is practically identical to the image on the Tamiya Box that was clearly the inspiration (and model) for this tank. That said, I like the paint scheme on the new 21st Sherman better - not a better job per se, but just a more standard and...

It was an easy choice for me as an armor guy and that tank is so important to the collection. Excited is not a strong enough word....

But I must admit I might have to get the Avenger as it's just such a cool plane.

32x FS

I have 2 Stug IIIs by fov, and a half track gun carrier & an M4. I also have a 21C Grey Tiger, Stk 222 and an m41. There are some men & little gear also - I will send pictures if interested. Like to get rid of it all at once as the 32x is a dangerous hobby - too much cool armor. PM or post as my hot...

They really should go down to that price at some point - it's the only XD that is stacked high at almost every one of the dozen trus near me.
Shame the thing is so out of place because it may be the most detailed tank ever. The engine detail is better than on some of the best diecast cars.

Cobra pilot

I kind of like the Cobra "Pilot," he has some this:

but I agree the articulation is poor on him.

Winter Panther

The weathering is something all of it's own - I mean there is a distinct difference in the tone of the two pieces, and it might be on purpose (to denote the bottom part as dirtier/more weathered) but it is nonetheless an eye sore when looking up close because it doesn't "blend" but rather just chang...

record straight

The Night Fighter is a WM plane. 21C did not release an entire paint scheme for ToyFed to buy 120 of them. Let's remember where the whole ToyFed exclusive came from - the leftover WM planes. It makes good sense that a small retailer could be shipping them out long before WM pumps them through the sy...

First let me thank Teamski for putting up my pics - much appreciated. Second let me agree with the above and say the figures are terrible. The number one problem is that 21c was obviously trying to make these guys serviceable for both modern and VN and the result was two completely lost figures that...

got mine

Alright gentlemen, the first of what I plan to be many of my M113s has arrived and needless to say I'm giddy. I waited about 2 years for this day and now it's here. This thing has been hauling us for about 40 yrs and is a pillar of the US military, though bearing less of a load these days. Who will ...

wINTER PANTHER

A friend and I were just discussing this....and I say despite some shortcomings it is great, 2d to the Ambush but still essential in my mind. He noted the tank has a greenish hue the distracts the eye. It is annoying that the lower hull & upper hull are two different tones of paint (as they are two ...

That is unreal. If that's the case we have a real financial problem on our hands....I was going to buy a few but I wasn't considering a whole division until now....and I can use the gear with my old M4s...that just all sounds awesome.

Those look like the best 1:18 figures ever.
