pickelhaube- I think you are a horder. You have so much that you can't really display it all. You got it bad  If those were guns, the ATF would be involved. On a bright side if something should ever happen to you, your family could fully support itself for years by selling your collection :) .....

Just when I'm in the finishing stages of my MH-6 to OH-6A conversion I find this. Seems a lot of people wanted the Cayuse and couldn't wait for one to be released. (I too!) Very nice work to you all, no matter the scale :)

I missed out on the original figures. I really like them but really there's not a lot for me to do but just make them stand there. I'm working on bases but they'll be huge. What I need are heads! I wouldn't mind more accessories either and the diecast M113 again.

I was kinda hoping the new VN figures would spark the re-release of the huey's and possibly other VN items.

For me it depends on what's offered. I know somewhere I found a company awhile ago that made 1:16 scale Vietnam era M274 Mules and since there isn't one in 1/18 I'd buy it. If more Vietnam era vehicles were made in 1/16 and not in 1/18 scale I'd obviously buy it :)

PTE stands for Power Team Elite. It is a sort of knock-off brand of 1:18th military figures, vehicles and accessories. The items can be bought at Big Lots stores for cheap and are great for the customizers. The figures have great articulation, but overall lousy sculpting. A lot of the vehicles, par...

Gi Joe heads?

Hey, I want to do a 1:18 scale figure of my friend and one of the 3.75" Gi Joes look kinda like him. Has anyone tried small joe heads on 21c XD figures, specifically the new VN figures? I'm sure General Blasto can comment on this

I'd love a Vietnam gear pack. With the new Vietnam figures we're desperate for M16's. I'd like to see boonie hats, maybe a PRC-25 radio, sitting machine gun legs (I have a few .50cal MG's), maybe a green or black beret, utility cap. I'd be pushing my luck with a lightweight rucksack or claymore mine...

Interesting article. I liked the analogy of applying lipstick to a dog. I use to work in a factory that made plastic auto parts, mostly door handles and when dealing with 12 hours of doing the same thing over you can slowly watch the machine's quality kinda slide, from dirt, dust, being over heated,...

Yea, even though we don't get 21st Century toys in Canada it would be nice for you guys to get things across the country roughly at the same time. I could understand a few weeks apart, not more than six to nine months like now. 75th Ranger, I ordered as many Vietnam era figures as I could online. I'...

I'm glad theres such an interest in Vietnam Era armour. Kinda raises my hopes that since 21C has made a model for it that it might come out in the future. If thats on the list I'll vote for it :) The M551 Sheridan was ahead of its time. It had the ability to fire missiles out of its 152mm cannon. It...

I learned a looooong time ago not to care what others think. Some neighbors kill time gardening, jogging, trimming hedges and I collect 1:18 scale figures among a lot of other unique hobbies. Just think of how envious the people down the street are that you have your own squadron or unit to command :D

I'd be interested in the heads to swap with all my platoon figures. If it came with gear I could use in any era like ammo boxes, an M2 MG, mortar, mortar ammo, etc it would be a bonus. Or I can buy the BBi WW2 figures with all that stuff included. I think a limited run of 1:18 heads of famous charac...

VN M113 Question

Hey, since I'm still kinda new to the hobby I've missed a lot including the 1:18 M113. What I'm curious to know is if there was a VN 1:18 M113, much like the 1:32 M113A1 or was there only the motorworks M113A2? I've been watching ebay for months but haven't see a VN M113 in 1:18 and now question if ...

All my XD vietnam items are sorted into ammo boxes and occasionally I switch up the scene I ha...

it cost me $7 to make 200 sandbags while watching tv for a night or two. I just took a green 1:18 scale GI Joe plastic sandbag for the shape, cut it out of clay, smooth it all out and let it get hard. Although I'm sure that link is good if you have extra money and no time to spare :)
