DFW report
DFW report: Sad news with just about every Target I've visited. They're bone dry when it comes to the 1:18 figures. I've been to every location I can get to and it's pretty pathetic. For example, one Target has a US Marine Pvt. Brooks sitting on the shelf. It's been like that for months. Another Tar...

DFW report
DFW report: Almost every WalMart I've been to has loads of Platoon figures. It doesn't look like they're moving. Everything else appears to be however. For example, good luck finding any WW2 tanker troops. You'll find maybe one on a peg per store, if that. The WW2 Germans are all but gone. The last ...

Scouting Report
Hey Warhawker, which TRUs in the DFW metroplex have you scoped out?
The mid-cities TRU has tons of PAK 40s and VN figures.
The Arlington TRU has lots of kneeling DAK machine gunners.
Have you been to the north Dallas TRU? What do they have? I have not seen the Stuka Zu Fuss yet!

1:18 female figure
Ok, if 21st Century or some other company had to make a 1:18 scale female figure, what would it be?
The only thing I can think of would be a female VC with conical hat.
Figures like WACs would not sell. They would be peg warmers for sure.
So what else?

Complete Novice Questions
1. When the Brad was first made it was to fight against the Ruskies in Europe thus the camo. In Europe huh? The Cold War is so... yesterday . It's hard to imagine now. 2. Again all of the camos were of green color to fight in Europe. Then the war came up in the Middleeast. So they have had that par...

Does anyone remember these TRU sales?
I was thinking back over the years and 2 TRU instances stick in my mind. I wonder if I was dreaming. Can someone confirm if I was seeing things? 1) There once was a TRU sale where 1:18 XD halftracks and tigers were brimming the clearance rack. They were some ridiculous price like $9.99 each. I am ki...

WWII US Tanker Troops (21st Century XD line)
I need everyone's honest opinion about the 1:18 XD WWII US tank troops. How do you feel about their accuracy? Are they worthy? Which tanks do they look best in? And please don't say the FOV Sherman just because of the price. If you had to create a great looking diorama, and had to use these guys, wh...

Where are the 1:18 Italians?
You know what 21st Century should put out next for their 1:18 XD line? World War 2 Italians. Wouldn't that be the greatest? Think of the helmet and those cool looking machine guns (one of the current DAK guys has one). There could be an officer too. With pistol. Oh, and don't forget the paint scheme...

Complete Novice Questions
These questions will reveal me to be a complete novice. These may be embarassing, but here goes... 1) What theater is the FOV 1:18 Bradley (green paint scheme) supposed to be depicting? Obviously the tan paint scheme is for places like Iraq... 2) I know very little about modern US uniforms. The FOV ...

Oh, who am I kidding?
The Bradley and the Sherman are awesome!
It's just a matter of time before I scoop them all up.

DAK Dual Packs
I don't think anyone has answered these questions.
1) Where are people buying these?
2) What is the retail price of a dual pack?

To sell DAK figures or not to sell
I am new to the forum so I am not allowed to talk about buying/selling figures. But it would be interesting to see some pics of the DAK figures with the swapped heads. I am a big fan of the North African theater.

What is the psychology?
I have been wondering this for some time now. Whenever I go to Toys R Us, I see pegs full of kneeling DAK figures. Why are there so many left? What is the psychology? If I were younger and had the money, I would buy up every last one. So why aren't people snatching them up? They're peg warmers!!! It...

Need advice on purchasing 1:18 FOV vehicles
Thanks for your thoughts. I went back and forth about purchasing the FOV vehicles until I went to Toys R Us today. I saw a 1:18 Ultimate Soldier German halftrack. I had a $5 off coupon, so I figured what the heck and picked it up. It's awesome. I can't believe I actually considered buying an FOV veh...

Need advice on purchasing 1:18 FOV vehicles
Before I ask my questions, let me give you some background. You may find it funny, you may find it sad. My background I have been a collector of 1:18 and 1:32 figures since I was a kid. I grew up with GI Joes and Airfix soldiers. So over the years, it was easy to spot quality as sculpting/quality pr...
