I can't say that I reget buying any of the planes/vehicles/figures, because for the most part, their the only 1:18 version of that certain plane/vehicle/figure. But if I had to pick which I didn't like, I would pick the P-40. It seems so toyish, especially after being released at about the same tim...

Eagle, I don't know about the 1/32 Tiger coming back, but the 1/18 Patton is a re-issue that's supposed to be in the works. I bought one long ago when Toys R Us had them.

IMOH 21st's Tiger, Hanomag and Halftrack (for armor anyways) put BBI's Sherman to shame. I'll wait and see if BBI "throws down the gauntlet" to 21st in armor like they did with the P51. Nobody would be happier if they did....

I just popped out the three screws that connect the bottom half to the top and then removed the round plastic piece that makes the gun go up and down. I intend to take a look in the near future about what I can do to 1. reduce if not eliminate the ridiculous "jump back" when you fire and 2. improve ...

What I think would work is, instead of (or in addition to) having the "extra arms", having an extra "lower torso" for figures either sitting or kneeling. With a little articulation at the knees and ankles, they could be fit more places and just maybe I could pose some riding on the back of my tanks!...

Has anyone been able to do anything about the terrible engine sound, such as reprogram it? The gunfire sound is decent but the engine sound is pitiful. I removed the goofy up/down gun elevation piece and love the turret movement sound. It aint perfect, but I'm happy so far.

You'd have people who haven't given the 1:32 line a second look lining up to get one that was well-made....

I have the P-40 and it is mediocre at best. Unless you get a steal of a deal, save your money for the other, much nicer, planes. Better yet, I'll pull mine off the fishing line hanging from the garage rafters and send it to you for $40 shipped (sorry, I don't keep my boxes).

Yes, a Skyhawk should fit nicely in one of their existing boxes. And once we get our foot in the door, we might actually get a Phantom.

Yes, I've got a P-40 and, IMHO, it is the worst job 21st Century has done on any aircraft, and it should be redone. But I still want a lot of other things first; an A10, a Hellcat, the Avenger (still believe it when I see it in stores), etc., etc.

I've racked my brain too trying to think of a way to put my T-72 in its natural state (burning and/or smoking), and nothing yet. Now that is an impressive job of repainting.

FOV sometimes likes to put a light coat of a tan (I think) weathering paint. My 1/32 King Tiger had that overly-faded look, so I very lightly rubbed over it with a cotton swab and thinner to get most of it off. Looks 100% better now.

Wal Mart, like any large multi-national corporation, doesn't have a good track record when it comes to listening to the little guy on the street - especially if its a bunch of grown men complaining about toys. While I agree that Wal Mart is certainly 21st Century Toys' prime contractor (and financi...
