Finally found and bought my M-16 today at the Costa Mesa Target. For some weird reason it would not be checked out no matter how many times it was scanned, me giving the retail price, typing up the upc or the retail price, or pressing any override buttons, so I waited 30 minutes while one of the sup...

What the bad move was was making something that was already out on the market - but they were probably thinking lets undercut 21st while they have them on the TRU shelves and get people interested in what we have to offer. But it is competetion non the less and that also keeps prices down. It appea...

What do you mean "different" Vogel figures?
Same here, but I guess you mean the battle pack Vogel. The only thing different about the battle pack Vogel is that he doesn't have his pimp stick from what I can see.

Don't worry on the M-16, you are not missing anything. At the very least, travel around to one of the many TRUs in So Cal and hunt down the 21c version. (I recall seeing one a month ago or so at the Valencia TRU and at the Monrovia TRU. It may cost $10 more, but is a far superior vehicle  Tha...

Nice, I'm glad BBI is making 1:18 weapons sets, I always wonder why 21CT never did so. Now I hope we get a modern weapon sets next, I need more SAWs for my projects.

I want the two MH-6 pilots to match in terms of uniform, so is Harris the original pilot that comes with the MH-6? No they don't match. The Night Stalker pilot packaged with the MH-6 is in a brown uniform while Chopper Harris is in a black uniform. I'm not sure which figure is more accurate in real...

I usually buy from the Hobby People stores. Great friendly employees and services there. To look for a location in your area that carry the Enthusiast Editions of FOV, go to the FOV website , click on the picture with the Canadian and U.S. flag and it will pop-up a page for you to search for store l...

The 2 Packs have landed in SoCal! I wasn't really expecting anything at TRU, but there they were  , all known sets, the D-Day, Wehrmacht, DAK, and Vietnam packs. They are already in the price database and ringed up $9.99 each. Sure, not $3.50 like the rest of you guys are finding it, but hey,...

Nothing here in my portion of the west coast yet.

As for Hetzers, they are pretty much all gone down here as well as all 32X vehicles. I only found one left at the Paramount Wal-Mart (above Long Beach) which was discounted to $4.

The new stuff was probably there, just that competition is really fierce down here for new arrivals. :P
I'm sure the M16 will be decent, the FOV Tiger and Sherman weren't appealing at first glance either.

Got the Sd. Kfz. 251/1 half-track and 75mm Pak 40 set today at Target.
Quite a nice set, Bad Cat Toys does not show or list an additional figure in the set, its a German soldier standing in the half-track aiming the machine gun.

Ok, I've been observing the Bravo Team distribution flow for 3 months now in both LA and OC, and its rather alarming that none of the Abrams and Bradleys have shown up in any of the Targets within 1 mile of me. Instead they are all being stocked up at only certain places, even more peculiar is the A...

On the other hand, my mission wasn't a failure as I found and bought the new FOV 1:72 Battle Extreme packs, the King Tiger and soldiers set and also the Sd. Kfz. 251/1 half-track and 75mm Pak 40 set! 8)

The "new" figures are all coming up as not scanned into the system. The German Tankers in white did the same thing. TRU is like this, they don't put the price into the database for new arrivals until about roughly 2 weeks later. I Checked two more TRUs yesterday, one had nadda, the other one seems ...

Re: Olifant

If I were a manufacturer, I would make it so that the hulls were detachable at the water line, so you could offer the ship in both full draught and waterline versions, thereby satiating everyone's appetite. I think FOV might try to split it up, full hull for the Enthusiast Edition, and water line h...
